C22 - Become Stronger I.

Vidus walked beside the seemingly lifeless Lyanna back to Lakron. The terrifying aura that surrounded her retreated like it never existed, she looked like an average girl at the first sight.

Vidus recalled those memories before that event happened, Juno told to him some days before that she was pregnant and she wanted a girl as their first child.

He felt some happiness and sadness in his heart, and when he looked at Lyanna, she remembered those precious moments he lost. He still wanted to be a father, and a grandfather too. But his heart always stopped him to forget Juno and never chase any other woman.

"Lyanna, you want your aura to make stronger, right?" He asked him in a kind tone.

She nodded as a yes and didn't speak a word. For Lyanna, Orga was a second mother-figure to her and after she saw her aunt die, she realized her strength was anything but enough to reach her aims.

And now, Lyanna couldn't pull her willpower together to move forward.

"Then let's start with the basics. By the way, do you know anything about your aura? It can help us to find a proper way to train you." Vidus smiled at her.

"No, and I know just its name, which is Mastery Aura."

Her words seemed to be empty while it carried sorrow behind the emotionless tone.

"Mastery Aura?" Vidus pondered because he never heard this aura before.

He knew some names like 'Swordmaster' or 'Beastmaster' but it was related to something specific. He was clueless about this.

"Let's head back to Lakron first. I think we can find a method to help you increase your mana pool." He said.

Lyanna just nodded again. The atmosphere was a little awkward around them as they walked back, os Vidus now closed his speaking towards her.

The sky above them turned bright as they left the darkened area of the monastery. There was a long way before them to reach Lakron.

At this moment Vidus noticed the changes in Lyanna.

'Her emotions affect her appearance this much?' He was surprised as the girl's hair and eyes turned silverish from the blood-red colors.

It was already nighttime when they arrived. The city became calm with time and everything went back to normal, except the worry about the news of the regional lord will come to visit.

At the gate, the guards greeted him while they looked at the girl strangely. She seemed somehow known by them but they didn't care too much while Vidus stepped inside the city together with her.

Without much thought, he headed back to his home with Lyanna. They stood before a rusty door, it was a bit further from the city's center.

"You can stay here for a while. I need to finish some matters. I will come back soon." Vidus gently pushed the door and opened it.

He closed the door and went to the jail for Radan. He still struggled with the thoughts about him since the moment he told the truth about Juno.

He opened the door of it without any call.

"So you caught her?" A casual question echoed inside the building.

"I need your help." Without wasting too much time, Vidus said this straightforwardly.

Radan raised his head and strangely looked toward Vidus. He was confused about Vidus behavior, he seemed different. He didn't avoid the eye-contact, his determination was as solid as a wall of rock.

"Speak." Radan replied.

"As your brother, I am very sorry for what happened. Since I can't change the past, do as you please, but before that, give me 2 weeks." Vidus kneeled down and with a sincere tone asked for forgiveness.

"Hm?!" Radan raised his eyebrows.

"The girl needs a mentor, I ask nothing more." Vidus put his right fist-formed hand into his left palm.

Radan sighed loudly and scratched his head. He planned to scold him into hell and act like he never met him, but after his asking for forgiveness, he changed his mind.

"I will be acting as the head commander and take a break." He said gladly.

Vidus just stood up and bowed to him as thanks and left the building. Radan saw the seriousness in his eyes, something he saw last time when his friend asked him about Juno many years ago.

'So you find something that moved you over her loss ... I wanna see your success, brother.' He mumbled inwardly and smiled towards the closed door.

Vidus arrived back at his home where Lyanna just stood in the middle of the small hall.

"Let's rest for today. From tomorrow, you will have a hard time!" He happily said his enthusiastic words.
