Family Dinner

Jessie and Min Jun moved the dinner party from their apartment to one of the larger private halls that Keepin' It Real made available to patrons for parties and dinners. The food was served family style by a quartet of black-tied waiters who stayed to refill drinks, clear plates, and make sure the guests had everything they wanted.

Jackson, Max, Jordan, Betty, and Dillon joined the family. As everyone jockeyed to sit by their preferred dinner partner, Luke preempted Steph's attempt to sit across from her mom and to the right of Hong Gi.

"Brother, no," Hong Gi said softly.

"What? I always sit to your right," Luke said.

"Can't you sit to the left this once?"

"Can't she?"
