Saying Goodbye Is Hard

Hong Gi dropped his car keys in the tray by the door with a sigh. Time was running out, and he didn't know how to tell Steph. Things were going great between them. Even with all the outside conflict that threatened their happiness, they had managed to progress in their relationship.

He had to admit, living with Steph was even more impressive than he'd ever dreamed. She was a terrific lover who was always open to new things, no matter what he asked of her. And outside of the bedroom, she was his equal in intellect and work ethic.

Hong Gi walked through the condo seeking out his lady love. The place was spotless, just the way he liked it. They worked together to keep it that way in some unspoken agreement that a clean environment was most conducive to a peaceful, productive life. He'd worried about that in the beginning. It was one of the non-negotiable items on his life list.
