Honesty Hurts

Steph chided herself for leaving her family to return to the university with Hong Gi only to turn right around and run back like some big baby. She would have considered it a huge waste of time if it hadn't been for finalizing some details with the police and having faced Hong Gi honestly during the interim.

Honesty hurt like a bullet wound though. She didn't want to leave Hong Gi's side, but her head was a mess right then. Steph was consumed with guilt and fury and fear that it might happen again. Would her life always be this way with one drama popping up on the climax of another? She couldn't even blame her relationship with an idol as the cause. Her childhood had been riddled with fights between her parents, her dad's instability, her parent's divorce, and all the struggles Jessie had with raising Liam and Steph alone.
