What to Think

Luke knew without a shadow of a doubt that spending the night with Tate was a bad idea. But how could he say no now? Kim had made an asshole move. Luke had a responsibility for Tate's injury as well. After all, Tate was watching him when he fell. Yes, he saw that, but he wouldn't further Tate's embarrassment by saying it aloud.

"Fine," Luke said.

"Really? You'll stay?"

"I'll stay."

"Then we should order you some food. You've not eaten all day."

Had it been that long? Luke thought back. He'd had breakfast with the guys before the trek to the waterfall, but he couldn't remember actually having lunch. They'd been shooting around that time, so there was makeup, fittings, styling, bullshitting, and then the accident. He'd had an energy drink at the emergency room, but real food had not crossed his radar all day. It was probably at least part of the reason a headache was creating a  slowly tightening band around his head.
