At the airport.

" Hugs!"

Daisy and Elise hugged when they met at the airport. Liam was completely ignored. Daisy was expressing how much she looked forward to this trip. Elise listened carefully.

" Attention. Boarding of flight XXXX will begin in 10 minutes"

" Come on, let's go", said Daisy.

Liam grabbed the carry-ons and headed for the counter. Daisy and Elise walked hand in hand behind him. Elise looked behind her.

Elise had a hard time saying goodbye. Her family and friends were here. She was reluctant to leave them behind. But she still forced herself to turn around and leave without ever looking back

In the private hospital

Aaron begins to show signs of waking up and the Garcia family is in chaos. Some were happy while others were gritting their teeth in anger.

" I knew it. That woman was a jinx. The moment she left, Aaron showed signs of waking up", said Rhianna.

" Regardless, Aaron is about to wake up. This is a happy occasion", said Mrs. Garcia as she balled her hands into fists. The anger was apparent in her eyes.

A few hours later.

The flight Elise took landed and the trio dragged their tired feet from the plane to the apartment chosen by the Sullivan family. The apartment had a brick exterior and a warm and comfortable interior. There were five rooms with five baths, a kitchen, and a large living room.

In Elise's room, there was a traditional canopy bed with a pastel orange cover and pink and turquoise throw pillows, a hanging coral egg chair, white vanity table with a coral fluffy chair.

Elise changed her clothes. She sported a white crop top with blue jeans, a blue sweater unbuttoned, and white sneakers.

The apartment was fully furnished and everything was arranged from food to toiletries. So Elise went to the kitchen to eat since she was hungry. She saw Liam who seemed to be making noodles dressed in a black hoodie grey sweatpants and a white apron. She sat down on one of the chairs

" You are here", said Liam as he placed a steaming hot bowl of noodles in front of Elise brought out a spoon and a fork, and placed it beside the bowl. Next, he arranged a bowl of noodles for himself.

" Daisy seemed to have decided to take a nap", said Liam as he sat on and picked up his fork.

The two began eating.

" I think that you look very familiar, do I know you from somewhere?", Elise asked.

" I attended Sunset High too. I was the class president. I was also the one who gave you a tour around the school when you first arrived at Sunset High", Liam explained.

" Really?"

Liam nodded.

The two started to slowly open up and began a pleasant conversation. After dinner, Liam did the dishes and the two watched a movie. Daisy woke up around that time and walked out of her room wearing a baggy blue sweater and blue ripped jeans, stretching her body. She heated the noodles and ate them quietly before she went to the living room to see Elise and Liam watching a movie and decided to join them.

" Did you sleep well?", asked Elise.

Daisy nodded and went on to explain how comfortable the bed was and how nice the temperature of the room was perfect for her in poetic words.

" Glad that you are making yourself at home", said Liam.

The three watched the movie while snacking on popcorn.

After the movie, Daisy left to pick up a call and Liam and Elise were left alone.

Liam coughed, catching Elise's attention. He nervously said that he had something for her.

Elise asked what it was and Liam pulled out a small jewelry box. Elise opened it to find a crystal necklace inside. The green teardrop-shaped crystal was attached to a silver chain. It was simple yet eye-catching.

" Is this for me?", asked Elise.

"This is a late 18th birthday present for you. I bought this years ago but I couldn't hand the present to you so I gave it to you right now. Do you like it?"

Elise put it around her neck to show how much she liked it and Liam flashed a smile. Elise thanked Liam and went to her room to go to sleep. Liam sat there for a few minutes before he went to his room too.

He went to his room and lay on the bed, smiling as he slowly fell asleep.
