Little Demons

Five years later...

" Jasmine, Leo, please stop running around. What if you get lost?", said Elise as she dragged two heavy suitcases.

Daisy was dragging a suitcase while trying to get a hold of the twins.

" I thought that your children would be cute and obedient. Well, I was wrong. They are two little demons", said Daisy as she gritted her teeth.

Leo was born before Jasmine and was a head taller than Jasmine. He had wavy sunflower blonde hair, dark blue eyes, with pale ivory skin. On the other hand, Jasmine had straight medium champagne hair with her mother's emerald green eyes and rosy pale skin. Jasmine and Leo both had cute and attractive features that made them irresistible. Only Daisy was at odds with them.

" They are cute. You are the only one who hasn't fallen for their little trap. Even Liam has been swindled by these two", said Elise.

" Liam is their father, well at least to the two demons. They only listen to him. To him, they are indeed very cute", said Daisy.

" But I think that they are very cute", said Elise as she looked at the twins with love in her eyes.

Daisy was speechless. She walked forward as she began to question if the Elise in front of her was the Elise from the past.

At Daisy's apartment.

" It's been five years but it still feels like home", said Daisy as she collapsed on the sofa.

Elise walked in while carrying Jasmine who had fallen asleep, in her arms. Leo also walked into the apartment while rubbing his eyes, clearly looking tired. Elise went to put them to bed in the guestroom which was cleaned by the servants of the Sullivan family one day before their arrival.

After tucking the kids into bed, Elise dragged a tired Daisy to get changed.

Daisy changed into a pair of light pink spaghetti strap satin pajamas with black satin shorts.

Elise wanted to go to the supermarket to get things as she saw that the fridge didn't have much food. So she picked out a white crop top with bishop sleeves, baggy light blue jeans, and white ankle strap high heels. She let her hair that was tied up in a ponytail down and tucked the front strands of her hair behind her ears.

Elise got out of the house quietly got into her car and drove to the supermarket. There she put item after item into her cart. When she was about to go and check out, she remembered that she wanted to buy chocolates so she went back and got chocolate and then went to checkout.

When Elise was exiting the supermarket, she felt someone's gaze upon her but brushed it off and quickly got into her car.

( Aaron's POV)

I just went to the supermarket after a long day at work. I took off my jacket and entered the supermarket wearing a white shirt and black trousers. People looked at me but I was quite used to it. As I was shopping, my eyes landed on her. I was shocked. The woman I have been looking for over four years was here. The sight of her still made my heart beat faster and faster. I checked out before her and followed behind her closely.

I got into my car and slowly followed her trying to not alert her. But of course, I failed. She stopped her car abruptly and got out of her car. She came up to my car and knocked lightly on my car window. I got flustered but I still rolled down the window.

" Mister, you have been following me from the supermarket. Who are you and what do you want from me?", she asked.

I was surprised. She doesn't know me..? Maybe she is just pretending.

I thought as I got out of my car. I approached her. She stepped back with each step I took forward.

" Do you not remember me or... are you pretending?", I asked.

" Mister. I don't know what you are talking about", she said.

Her eyes told me that she wasn't lying.

" I'm sorry. I was just heading to my friend's apartment. I got lost. I'm sorry again if I scared you", I said.

She said that it was okay and got back in her car and drove off. I stared at the vanishing car. I felt empty inside. I got inside and hit my steering wheel feeling frustrated. I calmed myself down and called someone labeled as 'Hawk' in my contacts.

" Find out everything about Elise. Where she has been during these five years and what she has been doing. I want it before the end of this week!", I said.

" You crazy-"

The person on the other end couldn't finish as I ended the call but I can imagine him cursing me right now.

" Are you sure about applying to this company? ", asked Daisy.

Elise nodded seriously.

" This company has been involved in too many scandals. It also seems to be debt. Why don't you join Liam's company?", Daisy tried to persuade Elise but Elise remained stubborn.

Daisy gave up and left for work. She has gotten a few clients so she will be pretty busy this week.

Elise applied for a job as a fashion designer. Designing was a hobby she picked up while she was pregnant. After being restricted from doing almost everything because her fetuses were unstable, she started to paint.

Then after giving birth, she was too busy to go to work since the two kids were a handful.
