FILE.47

Rosie woke up to brightness and after a couple of seconds remembered yesterday's events.

Simon Wray.

His revelations.

The deceptions.

"Oh, God," she muttered to the pillow, rolling to her front as the memories flooded her mind.

She had to get out of here. Immediately.

Throwing the covers back, Rosie tossed her legs to the side and stood. Somehow, she was able to avoid Cedric last night by feigning sleep when he knocked on her door. But she wasn't going to risk meeting him just now. She wasn't ready to see him yet. Not until she processed some things and sorted out her feelings.

She had to give herself a moment to adjust after she got to her feet. She was lightheaded from crying and from all that thinking but other than that, she felt fine.

Fine, enough to escape.
