FILE.54

"Are you okay?" Cedric heard Rosie say.

"Fine," he croaked out, looking anywhere but her. "I thought I just… uh… saw something move."

"Is it a beetle?" was her excited response.

"I told you we won't fine any here."

"Fine. Now look at me."

With a great deal of trepidation, Cedric did.

Then burst out laughing when he saw how huge the jacket was on her and how small she looked in it.

It reached almost to her knees, looking almost a garment to her and her hands were hidden in the long sleeves of his jacket. He stopped laughing, however, when she shifted her whole weight to one foot and tucked her hands in the pockets to imitate an unmistakable Cedric pose. Then she mimed playing soccer badly and scowling at everything in her path.

"You're an idiot, Rosie," he said with a sigh.

"I really don't understand why you boys won't stand up straight."

"It's part of our charm."

She snorted. "Yeah, right."

"Cedric!"
