But having magical powers isn't all she thought it would be, as she gets caught up in intrigues, secrets and, to top it off, she becomes the centre of two prophetic visions: one predicting that she'd start the end of the world and the other predicting that she'd save it. But in order for the second one to happen, she must remain in the dark about a lot of important details.
Friendship and love, heartbreak and betrayal follow her on her journey as she struggles to protect the world from a danger she can't even comprehend.

Barely scraping by after he got kicked out of the Academy, Michael started ignoring the bigger picture developing behind the scenes. He needed to focus on the here and now, work fast and efficient to get home enough money to be able to help his little brothers and his mother. 


He only noticed the bigger picture when the trap set out by Shadow over the whole city of Aetheria started closing in around him too. 


The night after the first big blackout, when his bigger sister came in late, she started to act differently. She had always been a little brash, but that morning she was absolutely frigid. Wanting to see if he could help her out in any way, Michael took a small peek at her thoughts. And what he heard terrified him.
