Ever since the two White girls had arrived to their small Manor, the house was filled with laughter and joy once again. It felt wonderful to hear that sound so frequently, when until then, the house had felt quiet and empty.
The light discussion that had been entertained in their dining room, over a delicious dinner, was suddenly stopped by the light jingling of Gael's pocket watch. Surprisingly, someone was calling him!
He excused himself from the table, eager to hear the voice on the other side.
"Gael?" He heard Nin's voice as he ended up in his family's cozy living room. Guilt hit as he suddenly remembered he had forgotten to leave her some sort of message talking about why he wasn't at the Academy. Oh dear, Nin must be furious...
"Hello? Can you hear me?" Nin's voice came through.
