Maria used to be an average girl until she found out she could wield water magic. She and her father travel together to a magical dimension, Elementum, where Maria can study how to wield her magic at the Academy.
But having magical powers isn't all she thought it would be, as she gets caught up in intrigues, secrets and, to top it off, she becomes the centre of two prophetic visions: one predicting that she'd start the end of the world and the other predicting that she'd save it. But in order for the second one to happen, she must remain in the dark about a lot of important details.
Friendship and love, heartbreak and betrayal follow her on her journey as she struggles to protect the world from a danger she can't even comprehend.

Torrent of Shadows

After the day Milo and Mya met, time went by in a blur. A little while after Mya had been first taken upstairs, Milo suffered the same fate, but for a different reason. 


Shadow had another set of experiments she wanted to run on him. She used a combination of chemical element inhibitors to see if they acted better than the charms engraved on the cuffs. 


As the substance entered his system, Milo immediately felt nauseous. He barely noticed as the cuffs were back on his hands. The room was spinning before his eyes and, as the figures tried to shove him off the table, his whole body felt heavy. As his legs reached the floor, he collapsed under his own weight. He heard them scream at him to get up, but he realised he no longer could. There was panic coming from the voices as he drifted off.
