Blindness

Waking up in the middle of the night wasn't exactly pleasant. Dimmly, Gael remembered opening the window and finding wild curls and a petite figure outside his window.

Rachel.

And she was shouting Yuna's name. As he let his mind wander outside, blowing in the wind, he didn't notice the danger until a sickly sweet scent covered his mouth and nose.

The next time he awoke, there was... nothing. Through his muddled mind, as he tried to feel around him, he felt...

Nothing.

No soaring breeze to tell of his surroundings. For the first time since he had gotten Moth, he was well and truly blind. He felt his lungs stutter and bulge through the stale, humid air, as if the air that he could no longer control was now rebelling against him. He stood on the floor, breathing heavy and shallow at the same time, feeling light headed and dizzy and so scared, he was afraid his heart would jump right out of his chest.
