Chapter 19 : 'Who are you?',
It was evening.
It was almost time for Mia to come back but seeing that she isn't Leni couldn't help but frown.
Just then her phone rang. Seeing that it's Mia she quickly answered the call.
"Hello, Young Madam. Is everything okay?", Leni's worried voice entered her ear the moment the call went in.
"Yes. Sis Leni. I'm sorry that I worried you. Today I will be staying at my brother's place so I called to inform.", Mia spoke.
"Sure Young Madam. Take care. I will let Younger Master know.", Leni spoke.
"He's back again ?", Mia spoke in surprise.
"Yes.", Leni replied.
"Then I will be back.", Mia spoke as she hung up the call.
Leni smiled as she walked to the hall.
Hall.
"You are sure. Alex, it's not that I'm being a bother but are you sure ?", Simon spoke as he stared at the documents in hand.
"What am I still not clear? It's that I'm sure I've made the proposal.", Alex's voice came through as Simon couldn't help but frown.
"Alright then. I have a meeting with executive heads I will leave.", Simon passed the file in his hand to Adam and walked out.
"Goodbye Mr.President.", Hugo greeted.
Leni walked towards the hall and couldn't help but frown when she heard the conversation.
"Brother what Big brother was trying to say is...if you agree to this proposal then you'll have to mostly stay in the states for 2 years. Are you sure about leaving the country for a while ?", Luke spoke as saw Alex.
"Are you deaf? What was I saying a moment ago ?", Alex's voice came through making Luke shut his mouth.
"Alright if you are aware.", Luke spoke as he shrugged.
"I'll leave too...sister Leni take care.", Luke spoke as he walked out too.
"Sister Leni I will be leaving in 10 minutes.", Alex spoke as he answered the call without giving her a chance to speak.
After a few minutes, Rio walked out as he brought out the car from the garage, and soon Alex drove away from Wayside.
Leni walked out of the kitchen to see an empty living room.
"Hugo where is Young Master ?", Leni questioned. He said 10 minutes but where was he now.
"The call just came was urgent so he left early.", Hugo answered.
"Oh no...! Young Madam is coming back for him. I didn't even have a chance to stay it he left. I...what should we do now ?", Leni felt bad for the girl who's rushing home.
"Then we can just inform her.", Hugo spoke as Leni dialed Mia's number.
Meanwhile.
Mia hung up the call.
"Ann I have to rush back home. Manage brother.", Mia spoke as she stood up to go.
"Hey baby, where are you rushing? Your brother is cooking he'll feel upset.", Ann spoke as she saw Mia getting ready to go.
"Deal with it...please. I really have something important to do. Please Please...", Mia begged as she stared at her.
"Alright go silently. If he sees you then you are prisoned I can't help.", Ann spoke.
"You are the best. Go and distract him.", Mia spoke as Ann sighed and walked towards the kitchen. Like always she flirted and distracted him while she escaped.
Hearing the door close sound Lucas stared at Ann with a questionable face.
"Did she leave for him again ?", Lucas questioned as he held Ann in his arms.
"Hmm I guess, but this time she doesn't have to go to a party gala or some event just to stare at him. She just has to go back home. Luc, sometimes I'm jealous of Alex. Mia loves him this dearly that I could feel heartache for her.", Ann spoke.
"My sister is sneaking out with help of my wife. Say how angrier should I be?", He spoke as he pinched Ann's nose.
"Ah...Hubby, I'm innocent. Anway do you think Mia will feel upset if Alex...", Before Ann could complete.
"Ann they are impossible. So don't think much. Mia will eventually give up. She is a smart child.", Lucas spoke as he hugged Ann.
"I hope she won't be heartbroken.", Ann spoke.
"It's good to have a heartbreak than death.", Lucas spoke as he hugged her tighter.
"It's about to rain...will she be fine ?", Ann saw the clouds turning dark and spoke.
"She'll enter the cab. It's okay.", Lucas spoke.
"Hmm...now that she can see him openly, she'll rush back as soon as she can.", Ann sighed as she hugged him back.
But they didn't know that the reason for Mia's flutter is about to crumble.
Mia was inside the taxi when she received Leni's phone.
"Sis Leni I will be back soon.", Mia spoke as she stared at the flower street.
"Young Madam...Young Master left and he's likely not returning.", Leni spoke as guilt and sorry was felt in her sentence. The other side became silent for a while. Leni hesitated...
"Young Madam...?", She called.
"Sis Leni I will be a little late. Thank you.", Mia spoke as she hung up the call.
Mia turned towards the driver.
"Uncle drops me here.", Mia spoke as she paid the fair.
She saw the flower street was empty and filled with trees and beautiful scenery...but her heart was hurting too much to enjoy the view.
Her silky hair was flying due to the wind as her long dress was dancing along with the wind. Her bare face shinned under the moonlight that just entered the sky. She looked like an angel that had just walked down from the sky.
The raindrop started to fall as she wrapped her hands around her arms and stared at the sky that looked as dull as her heart.
Meanwhile.
"Hugo go and search for Young Madam...it's about to rain...she said she's near...I'm afraid...", Leni didn't complete her sentence.
"I know, I'll go. You stay calm and careful. I'll go and check on her.", Hugo spoke as he walked ut of the house.
Flower street.
After a few minutes.
"Boss the rain is getting more intense...do you want me to stop the car for some time. I'm afraid...", Before Zen could complete.
"It's fine...this is not an area that has slidy regions. Increase the pace. I have to reach there.", Luke lazily spoke as he stared at the rain that's getting intense. He purposely pulled down the window glass as he extended his hand and head out as drop fell on him. But what made him pause was the known creature that just made him impossible to ignore.
The raindrops started to fall on her as she looked like a perfect sculpture that made one want to protect and own. She looked breathtaking at the moment. The usual flower street seem to be 1000 times beautiful with her in the scene. Luke's heart raced for the first time. He has seen many beauties as a boss of entertainment company but this woman looked like a descended goddess. Her elegance and petite body were out of the world.
Her facial feature made him wonder if she's really a person or an angel. Her eyes, nose...lips as the water touched her face...her bare face shined with a glow.
The wet dress showed all of her outstanding figure that was not at all translucent but made one thirst for her. Before Luke could realize the car passed the scene as he remained in the pause mode.
"Stop.", Luke shouted making Zen pause the car in hurry.
"Go back...back faster.", Luke spoke as his eyes seem to recollect the scene they have just seen.
Zen did what he asked for...but no matter how back they reversed...the woman was nowhere to be seen. Luke's eyes restlessly looked for the beauty. He walked out of the car and saw the empty road.
"Boss it's raining. Please get in.", Zen was in shock as he saw Luke losing his composure for the first time.
Luke was deaf to his words as he walked to the place where she stood. His handsome finger tapped the rod that she held.
'Who are you?', His heartfelt flutters for the first time. He knew this is what they call 'LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT.'
Meanwhile.
"Young Madam are you crazy...how could you be so careless about your health. If not for me you would have drenched in the rain and fell ill.", Hugo spoke as he passed her towels to clean.
"Also alone in the street...what if something bad...", He stopped his words. He saw her a while ago...she looked like a goddess...for a moment as a man he also felt she was an absolute beauty. After this scene, he seem to understand why his Young Madam made such efforts to cover her beauty. Her every feature was breathtaking.
"Haha...brother Hugo you just sounded like my brother.", She smiled as Hugo eyes widened.
His heartfelt a flutter her smile was infectious...he now knows what the saying '...and in her smile, I see something more beautiful than the stars.', meant.
Seeing him in a daze. She felt something was odd.
"Brother Hugo...is it okay for me to call you Brother ?", Mia spoke as she thought it was manners to ask before choosing to take freedom.
Hugo woke up from the daze as he heard her question.
"It's an honor Young Madam. I don't mind.", He spoke as he stared at her as a brother who just met a young sister.
Now he was more and more sure that for an amazing stunning man like Alex...this beauty with a kind heart is a perfect match.
