Chapter 2:Garp and Bandits

After Shanks and his crew left Foosha Village, Luffy continued his normal life, but with the presence of the straw hat.

One day, Luffy's Grandfather came back to the island.

''Gramps what are you doing here ahhhhhh'' Luffy yelled while being chased by his grandfather

''Call me Granddad and come back here you little brat, I found out you befriended a pirate. You will be a marine'' Luffy's grandfather continued to chase Luffy

Until Luffy saw Makino in front of the bar he visited daily.

''MAKINO HELP ME AHHHHHHHHH''Luffy ran to Makino with all his strength

Makino was surpraised by Luffy's yell, but when she saw what was happening, she let out at a sigh.

Luffy hurriedly hid himself behind Makino.

When Luffy's grandfather saw this he stopped.

''Hello Makino'' greeted Luffy's grandfather

''Why do you always start chasing after Luffy when you visit Foosha village'' asked Makino

''That brat said he will become a pirate, can you believe that. My grandson becoming a pirate, outrageous'' answered the man

''I will not become just some pirate, I WILL BECOME THE KING OF PIRATES'' Luffy yelled the last part

His grandfather had an angry look ''Come here you ungrateful grandson'' The old man grabbed Luffy by the collar

''Put me down you old fart'' Luffy said to the man

"Now this sealed everything'' said Luffy's grandfather soon after raising his hand

''FIST OF LOVE'' yelled the man before hitting Luffy in the head

''aww'' Luffy started to cry and rubbing the place which his grandfather hit

''It hurts''said Luffy while he was still crying

''Was that necessary Garp-san'' asked Makino

Monkey D. Garp, a navy vice-admiral and the navy hero

''He needs to learn'' Garp answered her

''We are going somewhere'' Garp lifted Luffy by the collar again and started running

''Gramps where are we going'' asked Luffy

''You will see''answered Garp

After 5 minutes Garp stopped and put Luffy down, after he did that he went forward to knock on door. When Luffy was put down by Garp, Luffy saw a butterfly and tried to catch it, but was unsuccessful and started to chase after it.

When Garp knocked on the door the first time no one answered, the second no one, on the third time someone with a threatening tone called out

''Who is knocking'' the person opened the door

''Do you have a death wish'' said the person before realising who it was

''GARP'' now fully awake the person yelled

''long time no see Dadan'' said Garp

''ye-yeah'' said back the person stuttering

''I am here to give you this'' placing a hand on Luffy's collar again and dragging him next to him

''This is Luffy he will stay with you from now on'' said Garp with a nonchalant look

''Nooo, not another demon'' yelled Dadan

''What are we doing here gramps'' asked Luffy

''You will be living here from now on'' answered Garp

''Garp we will not be able to handle two demons'' said Dadan

''I remember that you are bandits and i let you go because you said you will do everything I say'' said Garp. While Luffy got back to chasing the butterfly

''ugh ok'' Dadan accepted with a dejected look

''What is your problem'' yelled Luffy and got Garp's and Dadan's attention

They saw Luffy yelling at a kid on top on a tree, because he spit on Luffy.

''Humph'' the boy turned around and left

''That is Ace, from here on out you will be his friend'' said Garp to Luffy

Luffy nodded

Garp left and Luffy went inside with Dadan

''Who is the kid'' asked a random bandit

''Garp's Grandson'' answered Dadan

Her answer made every bandit look frightened

"NOoooooo not another one'' yelled every single bandit that heard what Dadan said

*Scene Break*

''Dinner is ready'' called out one of the bandits

Everyone started to devour the food and Luffy was left with only one piece of meat in front of him, just as he was going to reach for it Dadan took it and ate it.

''HEY, that was mine'' said with anger in his eyes

''look brat, everyone has to work for their food here'' said Dadan

''but-'' Dadan interrupted Luffy

''You have to catch your own food, look at him'' she pointed at Ace devouring food like the rest of the bandits

''understand?'' Dadan asked

''Yes'' answered Luffy

*Scene Break*

Later that night, one of the bandits showed Luffy, the room he will sleep in. There were two beds, he plopped on the left bed. As he was getting ready to sleep, the boy that spat in his face entered the room.

''Hello my name is Monkey D. Luffy'' said Luffy to the boy

The boy ignored him tho and went to the right be.

''Hey , what is your name'' asked Luffy

''Do you want to be my friend'' He asked another question

Luffy continued to ask questions, but still got ignored, but got tired and fell asleep

*Scene Break*

The next day Ace went out in the forest, Luffy tried to follow him, but lost him. Ace was to fast for him to catch.

In the next week Luffy tried to follow Ace, but to no avail

One day as Luffy was following Ace, Ace past a bridge and when Luffy tried to pass the bridge, he felt everything slow down. He started to fall, Luffy didn't know what was happening and looked at Ace who was holding a knife. Luffy came to a conclusion. Ace cut the rope.

At that moment Luffy felt rage build up in him. Why why why he questioned, but no one answered.

As he was falling he heard water splash below him. He knew this is the end for him.

Like a bolt of lightning it hit him. If he was smarter and stronger maybe he could have gotten out of this situation. But he had to be a fool. Luffy was determined, if he survived he would become more serious and stronger

A splash was heard, Luffy lost all strength and started to drawn. The river current swept him away, never to be seen again. Or will he survive.

After a day Dadan and the other bandits went to look for Luffy, but didn't find him. They knew the next time Garp came to Dawn Island, they will be done for. Ace regretted what he did, he didn't know why he did it.
