It's a Porsche, baby.

"Jada?" A voice called from outside of the room after knocking on the door.

It was Jane who impeded on the special moment Jada wanted to kiss lewis.

"Mom?" Jada got off the bed, on reaching the door she rolled her eyes and took a deep breath letting it out before opening the door.

"Hey" Jane smiled at her trying to release her face from the worried look she had on it.

"Mom, is anything wrong?" She asked her mom, looking her in the eyes observing the worried look she had on her face. It was one of those looks mothers had on their face if they were worried about their kids.

"Baby girl-".

"Can we do this at home mom,?" Jada smiled politely at her to show her she wasn't affected by what happened at the party, stopping her from speaking further.

Jada knew she had come to talk to her to make her feel better from the embarrassment she caused herself at the party a while ago, Jane does that always which she appreciated but not now she was spending time with Lewis.

"I'm kind of busy right now" Jada made it known to her, opening the door halfway to show her she was with lewis.

"Okay, I'm sorry if I interrupted you guys but the party seems like it's going to be over in a few minutes and we are going to be leaving soon" Jane said to Jada, looking at Lewis who sat on the bed pressing his knuckles, observant of Jane he waved.

"Hi Mrs Jane" He waved.

"Oh hey Lewis" She waved back at him.

"Mom, you guys can go without me, I will be back later" Jada told her, drawing her attention back to her.

"It's past midnight Jada, you can't be going in the streets alone" Jane spoke to her in a worried manner holding her by the arm.

"Don't worry Mrs Jane, I promise you I will drive her back home safely" Lewis assured Jane, getting up from the bed and getting closer to them.

"You sure Lewis?" Jane arched a brow up, releasing Jada's arms, staring perplexed at Lewis who just promised to bring her only daughter home safely to her. She sure does like Lewis but she loved Jada so much to leave her in the hands of an eighteen years old boy who promises to bring her home safely.

"I assure you Mrs Jane" Lewis took her right and kissed it.

Woah, the boy sure does have manners and knows the proper ways to win the heart of a lady.

"Okay, but don't be too late Jada" Mrs Jane mentioned while withdrawing from the room.

"Bye" Jada waved to her.

"Bye" She waved along.

"Woah, what was that lewy?, Did you  just win my mom over?" Jada stood staring enigmatically at Lewis.

Did he seriously just won her mom over?,

He must have some magic spell on him, she wondered.

"I guess I did".

"I guess my mom likes you more than I thought" Jada closed the door, moving towards the bed and sitting on it.

"Really?" Lewis asked her, joining her on the bed.

"Yeah, my mom literally isn't the type of woman that leaves her only baby girl in the hands of her boyfriend who assures her he's going to bring her home safely".

"She trusts me baby because I always do as I say" He grins at her sharply.

"But wait lewy, what do you mean by you will drive me home safely?" Jada traces her mind curiously back to when Lewis told her mom he was going to drive her back safely.

"Because I got a car baby" He hollers, nodding his head repeatedly as if listening to rap music.

"Since when did you have a car?" Jada was ardently keen on figuring out when her boyfriend got a car.

"What can I say?, mom got me one before I even got back, though she kept it a secret from me due to the fact she wanted to surprise me"

"What type of car is it?" Jada enquired, still surprised by what he told her.

"It's a Porsche, baby"

"Shut up" Her jaws dropped.

"Woah, you are really blessed, Lewy," She added. He was really lucky indeed, she wasn't gifted with a rich family but at least she was thankful for the one she had except Jason who always finds fault with her in anything she does.

"Do you know how to drive?" Jada shot at him, desperately wondering what he was going to say. She needed to ask him at least just to be sure, if he didn't know how to drive then who was going to take her home safely?.

"You got nothing to worry about, I do drive around in some of the cars of the friends I made in England" Lewis saw the look she had on her face, and had to assure her he knew how to drive.

"You sure you do?" Jada asks one more time, looking him straight in the eye without twitching as she normally does, still doubting what he told her right now.

She didn't even realize she was staring at him at that specific moment if not she would have cut off the stare.

"Come on baby girl, don't you trust me?" Lewis stated, trying to clear Jada of the doubt she had in him.

"I trust you but I just needed to be sure" She says to him trying to release herself of the doubt she has towards him. This was a matter of life and death so she needed to be sure, if he ended up driving recklessly and she ended up in the hospital, what was she going to tell her mom?.

"That her boyfriend who promised to bring her home safely ended up sending her to the hospital?". Nope, that definitely wasn't an answer due to her mom she knows would kill Lewis before he even wakes up from the hospital.

"Let's go try it out if you don't believe me" Lewis gets up from the bed offering his hand to Jada who examines the hand thoroughly and looks at Lewis once more before accepting his offer.

"Okay, let's go!" She accepts his hand, praying silently in her heart, still doubting whether to go with him or not as Lewis gets the car keys and withdraws from the room with her. They followed through the backdoor so some guests still around in the party wouldn't notice them.
