Lesser Ascension Heaven
Vitrum, who was preoccupied with finding others to help him deal with the fiends on his world, was unaware that the one he had chosen to be his bride has now been taken by another man. He had healed quite a bit from his injuries to the point he was able to continue increasing the defense around his world's core.
Currently, several of his friends that also had worlds in the solar system he was in were visiting him at his palace to try and help. One of the things they had noticed was that he had placed a restriction on the world to prevent anyone from ascending to the heavens.
"You do know that putting a restriction on the world to prevent ascension, is the only taboo in the entire universe right?" asked one of the immortals. "You could be an absolute devil, just slaughtering and massacring all your inhabitants or destroying others worlds. It does not matter, what you do, so long as you do not break this only rule."
Vitrum looked at the immortal speaking to him. Of course he knew the rule, but he felt that he lost so much in the past from people ascending. In fact somehow after he had already restricted it, some woman had still managed to ascend. She had actually ascended far higher than him and was actually a Supercluster Realm powerhouse.
"So long as nobody finds out what's the harm? My world is basically on the edge of the universe and it's so young, that no one will care or think about checking it." explained Vitrum. He really wanted to keep all the power in the world to himself, since he loses whenever someone ascends they take a portion of his worlds power with them.
The immortals looked at each other with concerned eyes, but still decided to help since it was really not their problem to worry about.
Glass Planet, Royal Capital Tempest Void City
June has been in full wedding planning mode. She has put not only every single sect disciple to work, but also began moving each and every person that worked in the Royal Palace. She even tasked the Emperor with several tasks. The Duke and Emperor were honestly beginning to become a little afraid of her, but they just did as they were told no questions asked.
Susie was currently helping out as the right hand of June. She was efficient and hardworking which June loved. Both Iris and Orval were told to just sit back and do some cultivating. Iris has temporarily moved into Orval's palace and started to work on comprehending her new art. It was a phenomenal art that almost immediately allowed her to breakthrough to the peak of Rebirth Realm.
Orval, on the other hand was not cultivating. He was trying to find the best way to make his soon to be wife's zither. This was proving to be more difficult, even compared to creating the Infinite Legacy Scripture, which just kind of popped into his head one day.
As he sat there pondering deeply on the process, suddenly, almost as if he entered a trance, his mind began to blur. This was the same feeling that he would get when he was inside the pagoda and his soul was transported to another world. The only issue was he was not in the pagoda, so he was not sure how this happened.
As his vision came back around, he noticed he was again in his soul form. He was now inside what looked like a giant workshop. The walls were lined with hundreds of thousands of different instruments he had never seen. As he looked around he noticed someone staring at him. To his surprise, it was the once evil youth who had previously undergone a trial stripping him of his powers. The only differences were his hair was no longer blood red, but was a shimmering deep green color and his aura was now a calm aura.
Orval watched on as the young Origin turned away from him and began to speak to the other person in the room. That person was a middle aged gentleman. He was sitting at a large workbench, putting together what looked like a zither, but at the same time it was clearly not a zither.
"Master, what exactly are you making?" asked Origin, who clearly had never seen such an instrument before.
"This is a new instrument. It is similar to a zither but is not meant to be played in a calm manner. It can be used to incite excitement and chaos. I call it a guitar." explained the middle aged craftsman. He had a rough and sturdy voice. But despite his calm tone it carried a deep power.
Origin watched his master working on this instrument called a guitar curiously. He had already learned how to make instruments and has even been able to surpass his master in creating several different kinds. His only issue was creating something completely new.
Orval had now focused his attention on the craftsman working on the guitar. It was amazing. He could feel the power it was exuding, but the materials used were things he had never seen before. He assumed they were exclusive to this world.
After an hour of observing the craftsman finally finished his work. What he now held in his hands a completed guitar. Looking at his work with a satisfied expression he spoke to Origin to explain it in detail "This guitar is made out of some of the most powerful items of chaos nature in the universe. The body is made from Calamity Crystals formed under the pressure of chaos for millions of years. The neck is made out of Divine Nether Wood from the Abyssal Realm. The six strings are all made from different beast cores, processed into fine strings. Those beasts are the Divine Phoenix, the Holy Fenrir, a Descended Archangel, an Ancient Dragon, a Devil Lord, and a Fiend God. You must always remember with chaos, you need to make a calm sound. This way when your enemies think that the attack is over its like the calm before the storm. Suddenly, the calm ends and immediately following it is a massive storm of pure destruction and despair. This is the best form of chaos."
As Origin and Orval listened it took a few moments for it to sink in. After pondering for a moment Origin felt in his heart he could create something like this with a zither. He then went over to his workbench and began working. As Orval watched it was like a swirl of elements and energy continuously being thrown around. He did not use any materials like the master craftsman, just pure power. Orval began to notice five marble like balls floating around Origins body. He could not tell what they were but they seemed to carry immense power in them.
The master craftsman watched Origin working on his instrument. He was always in awe what he could do. While he was being called "master" by the young boy, it was only in the name of learning a new skill. He has known Origin for a long time and was aware he was only interested in learning new things.
After only thirty minutes, Origin had finished his instrument. He turned a showed it to his master and at the same time Orval. What floated above his hands was a beautiful zither. Origin began to explain the zither "This is a zither that needs no hands to operate. It can be controlled with a thought. It also does not have a physical form. It is a soul in itself. As the owner grows, so will the zither with no upper limits. I infused the various laws and rules I have learned over the course of my life. Using the life creation spells I have learned, I gave the mana that formed it a life of its own. Basically creating a new species. I call it Eternal Muse."
The master craftsman was only slightly surprised by this since he knew just was the boy was capable of. He sighed before saying he had nothing left to teach him and returned to his work.
Before Origin turned around he looked in Orval's direction and winked. Then, Orval's mind blurred again, returning him back to his palace. It took a few minutes for him to regain his balance after returning back to his body.
Orval began to ponder if he could create a zither similar to what he had seen Origin create. He thought it should be possible, even if it's not as powerful. But first he needed to find out which qi would be best used for Iris.
As Orval thought about Iris, several things popped into his head. When he thinks of her, he sees a beautiful girl, who is calm and collected. Yet he also sees a young girl, who can be hot headed and chaotic. Her smile is like a ray of sunshine and her body is like a world of mountains and valleys. She exudes life when she is happy, but when she is angry it's like a massive storm that could sweep up the entire world.
While thinking of Iris, Orval entered into a trance. The various different elements of qi began to swirl around him, like a chaotic storm. A normal cultivator would be torn to shreds sitting in the middle of this storm. As the swirling continued to get more and more chaotic, different laws and rules slowly began to appear. Those laws and rules then began to integrate into the different elements of qi, which caused the storm to intensify.
In between Orval's hands, qi was beginning to be collected from the intense storm surging all around him. As the collected qi continued to accumulate, it slowly began to take the form of a zither. As the zither was finishing up taking its form all that was left was the strings. Orval thought of the best way to create strings. He formed the strings from his favorite powers. He used the powers of Life, Death, Space, Time, Karma, and finally Calamity.
After a he finished adding the strings, he began to condense all the qi in the surging storm into the zither. After all the qi has been added in, the originally chaotic storm dissipated. He opened his eyes to find a translucent zither floating in front of him. The body was full of color swirling around like a hurricane. The strings were the only parts that were not storming on the zither. The strings simply shone brightly in solid colors: the string of life was green, the string of death was black, the string of space was purple, the string of time was white, the string of karma was blue, and the string of calamity was red.
Orval was satisfied with his new creation. He felt that this will allow Iris to showcase her abilities and grow even further on the path of cultivation. He smiled as he thought of what her reaction would be when she saw it.
