Kobolds
After 45 minutes, Kai had managed to annihilate those goblins while also regaining his strength and walking back into the dark corridor.
A green door stood up in front of him, leading into a new room. As soon as he stepped inside, his eyes were beamed by the blue that was provided by the elevated screen.
[Be ready! The second wave is coming!]
"Shit! I'm right that there's a second of a monster!" He said in worried and hearing the monsters' feet stomping to the solid ground.
Thud! Thud! Thud!
Based on the sound, the monsters here were more than ten. Yet, he couldn't tell what the specifics were here as the large boulder was blocking his vision.

Just like the first and second rooms, the door automatically closed. He wasn't shocked by the given circumstance as the best thing to do right now was to think about how he could survive in this place.
If it's the second wave, probably the third wave which the last wave would come to him. But what he could do? If there's no other place he can get out, and the only option left to him was to fight those monsters.
'At this moment, the only thing I have is this sword and the skill given by the Panther rabbit!' He uttered to his mind, then looked at rusty in his grasp.

He quickly changed his location, knowing all the monsters here had a great smelling sense, which means sooner or later monsters would be able to locate him.

Kai leaned his back on the boulder, peeking at the edge of it to figure out how many and what kind of monsters he was going to face. "It's better to know them first, also I'm planning to do a sneak attack since I can conceal myself behind this stone."
Of course, he was well savvied that he can't stay in a certain position for a very long time. This idea might be exhausted him easily, yet, he decided to survive so he'll do it no matter what the consequences.

"Kobold?"
Meanwhile, Kai's eyes were narrowly trembling after seeing the monsters using their noses to locate him. He got back to his position when he saw the other monster dart its furious eyes at him.
It had red-violet spiky scales in entire bodies, tails, 95 to 98 centimeters in height, red eyes, small wings, wearing leather armor, and utilizing one-meter spear that suited in their small body type.

[Kobolds]- it's an aggressive type of monster who didn't intend to care about the other race. Also, it loved to eat the human flesh.

[Trap]- The Kobold was a smart type of monster, they usually set traps before they fight.
[Scaling shield]- by concentrating their magical power on their scales, Kobolds could transform their scales into metallic armor.
Kobold was well known for having high physical defense and magical defense, at the same time, its race was distantly related to the dragon.
The screen enlightened him by this information.
By just looking at them, he can say their levels were around 6-7.
"I'm doomed! I'm just level 6 and I'm sure that I'll be having a hard time fighting them even in one versus one."
Somehow, Kai was still lucky since not like the goblins' number, the kobolds here were just five.

And all of a sudden, the three boulders exploded shattered to the ground after the kobolds used their spear. It created the golden brown smoke that was enough to conceal his presence in the meantime.

He moved to the next boulder that was 20 meters away from his earlier location. To be exact, the monsters already located his location, yet, they couldn't tell which boulder he was hiding. So to eliminate the obstacles, they desperately destroyed the stones.
"This is bad..." He said in a weak tone, watching his surroundings before adding these words. "Kobold's weakness is their wings, but what I have to do to attain closer distance to them without falling to their traps."
He assumed that the monsters had already set up traps for him, so he must be careful and remembered the exact surface where the kobolds were walking right now. Why? It was because, in his mind, there was a pitfall scattered all over the place once he stepped one of them. To put it simply, that was the only applicable trap that suited in the surrounding.
Boom!
Another explosion transpired in this room, but this time, it was way closer to him as he could see the rocks was going in his direction.
"I can't hide here for too long..." Kai was gritting his teeth, at the same time, noticed this was the only boulder that remained in this location.
When that moment, he heard a sharp sound coming at him, he didn't make any second thought to give in to the flat surface in front of him. As a result, he rolled many times, and the sharps stones that came from the boulder pierced his both arms.
"Ahh..." He felt the sticky blood dripping on his arms, nevertheless, it was the type of pain he won't mind. He regained his footing while looking at his behind, one spear was passing in the air as one of the monsters spotted him.
Swish!
Kai was well informed that he hadn't had sufficient time to dodge the attack, so he just positioned his sword towards the spears as he was waiting for it for a couple of seconds.
Swoosh!
As soon as he saw the spear was near to reach him, he then stepped forward his right foot and swung his sword in a slant direction.
Clang!
His rusty sword and the monster's spear hit each other.
Kai managed to deflect the spear and changed its direction into the dungeon wall. Its sharpness pierced the wall, but Kai could feel extreme physical abilities came from these monsters.
Tch!
"Just like what I expected, we have had the same physical power." He uttered and looked at his hands and saw the scratches appeared to them after he absorbed the attack.
Swoosh!
Five monsters were charging at him while the other one didn't have a weapon after it threw it and pierced the wall.
"At this point, the only thing I could do is to believe in my sword mastery. I hope it can help me to outstand those monsters! Ahhhh!"
The battle between the humanoid reptilian and has begun.
