Aftermath Part 1

When I saw the address, I understood that I had to gain the trust of the children to know it.

I decide it was time to rest and leave tomorrow morning.

Thinking for a moment I ask the children questions and thanks to that I was able to clear my doubts.

According to the children, in the other two groups they also have mutants with telepathy.

At the Institute they were trained to escape tracking by other masters of telepathy.

When I heard that, I understood why I didn't see the baldy guy in a wheelchair around here.

Their ability to avoid Xavier's tracking with Cerebro is impressive.

If someone else knows it will only make them more desirable, that's why I told them not to tell anyone.

Since I had talked with them in a secluded place, the Captain and the others did not hear our conversation.

While Alex was getting ready to rest.

Unknown location, Hydra headquarters

Bowman POV

I am currently listening to the conversation that the leaders are having via video call, with Strucker and I being the only ones physically present in the conference room.

"Pierce, why did you make my men return? It wasn't up to you to make that decision" says an annoyed Strucker.

"If they continued with the mission, they would expose us too much and my plan would be revealed, that's why I canceled it" Alexander Pierce calmly responds through the screen.

"Your plan takes too long, at least by completing this mission we would have powerful soldiers under our command" Baron Zemo intervenes from another screen.

"Being patient will give us great rewards," replies Pierce.

Seeing how the conversation was going nowhere, the person on the last screen whose face was not visible spoke.

"Calm down, we'll continue with the mission" says the person, to Strucker's joy and Pierce's annoyance.

"But to capture mutants we must use mutants"

"I will send Graviton and there is no more discussion" when the man finished speaking, obeying his orders they all calmed down.

And the meeting ended.

When the screens turn off Baron Strucker says:

"Good job Bowman, you can withdraw"

Hearing his orders, I retreat leaving a calm Strucker.
