Books of Truth Part 2

One of the sentinels attacks me, jumping back I dodge its attack.

The other two surround me and use their fire-based attacks.

The attack encases me in a pillar of fire.

Seeing this, a smile forms on Stryker's face and he says through the speaker:

"Fabulous, Sentinels are the perfect weapon and you, Alex Wayne, are the perfect target to prove it"

"Really? Then let me show you otherwise" I said to Stryker who was surprised to hear my voice.

From the pillar of fire, I stretch out my right arm and hit a Sentinel sending it crashing into the wall.

The pillar of fire vanishes so I quickly attack one of the fire-manipulating Sentinels. Upon contact with my 'Imagine Breaker', the fire it produces vanishes.

Using all my strength I kick one of its legs making it kneel, I grab its head and slam it into the floor destroying it.

The eyes of the other Sentinel shine saying:

"Adapting"

But then the Sentinel stops, starts to fail and says:

"Error, error, system failing"

The next instant the Sentinel stops working.

That baffles me but I quickly realize looking at my right hand, I know the sentinel wanted to adapt to my ability.

The Sentinel I had thrown against the wall recovers and starts attacking me, its arms transforming into swords.

I dodge its attacks and grab its arm. Using all my strength I break its arm, which makes the Sentinel back and taking the opportunity I destroy its head.

Finishing off the Sentinels, I look in the direction where Stryker is hiding and say:

"See? Your scrap isn't very good"

Stryker was furious but knew he had no chance against Alex Wayne after seeing what he was capable of so he decided to run away.

Only to find that his men had been defeated, and he was now surrounded by Psylocke, Laura, and Mystique's team.

They had taken advantage of the fact that Stryker was focused on Alex to decide to attack him.

They thought of this, after what Pietro had told them, about how Alex had dealt with Stryker's men.

Stryker drew his gun to shoot at them, but Pietro disarmed him.

Alex Wayne POV

Finishing off the Sentinels, I quickly search for Stryker.

When I got to the spot where Stryker had watched my battle with the Sentinels, I discovered that Psylocke and the others had already caught him.

"Oh, you came Playboy but you missed the fun since we already caught the bastard" Wanda said casually.

I ignore her words and look at Stryker.

It's time for the bastard to answer some questions.
