The Avengers Part 2

It's been a year since I started looking for those books.

In that time a lot of things happened, one of those things was that I managed to convince Mystique's group to work for me.

Wanda and Polaris decided to learn the Mystic Arts, after a little conversation with the Ancient One who trained them personally.

Also, Riri has become a master of the Mystic Arts along with Psylocke.

The girl is experimenting to combine it with technology. I know she will succeed.

Thanks to the Kingpin I don't lack money, so whatever Riri needs for her research, I provide.

It is currently April 28, 2012.

That means that very soon The Avengers will make their appearance.

I don't know what kind of incident will happen and make Fury have to bring them together, but once it happens, I'll be prepared.

"At the moment it doesn't matter how many books there are, we can only wait for Irene to find the location of the next one" I said, interrupting their conversation.

The others calm down upon hearing my words.

"Alex is right about that, thinking about it too much will only hurt us" Emma said.

"So what do we do now?" Pietro asked.

"We will return to New York, since our business here is finished"

Everyone accepts my words.

And each one goes to rest.

The next morning we left for New York.

Arriving in New York we went to the Sanctum Sanctorum, when we arrived, as usual, Wong opened the door for us.

Upon entering, everyone went to do their thing. Seeing this I decided to go out again to see Jessica.

When I was leaving, I didn't realize that Psylocke, Wanda and Polaris were staring at me.

"Where is that guy going?" Wanda asked.

"He went to see Jessica" Psylocke replies.

"Jessica? Who is that woman called Jessica?" Polaris asked.

"She's his friend" Psylocke told her.

"I don't believe that, surely it must be his paramour" said an irritated Wanda.

"Miss Maximoff, for Alex to have a paramour, he must first have a wife, otherwise it would not be a paramour, but his girlfriend" the Ancient One said with a smile, startling the three women.

"Teacher" after recovering, Psylocke greeted her respectfully.

Wanda and Polaris follow Psylocke's lead and greet her as well.

"Follow me girls, I will give you some advice, after all you will need it" said the Ancient One.

Hearing the Ancient One's words, the three women were confused.

"Teacher, why will we need it?" Psylocke asked the Ancient One.

The Ancient One doesn't answer her question, but smiles and says:

"You'll know later"

When they saw that she wasn't going to say any more, the three women didn't ask again.

Alex Wayne POV

Arriving at Jessica's office, I find that the woman is sleeping with her head on the desk.

I can only think one thing: 'this woman never changes'.

Sensing that someone is approaching, Jessica got up, when she saw that it was me, she just says:

"Oh Alex, welcome, I haven't seen you here for more than two months"

"I was busy looking for something"

Jessica didn't ask anymore.

I stayed to talk with her until she finished her work.

When she finished, we went for a walk and then we went to her apartment.

I must say that the night was wild.
