Marauders Part 2

Malice is excited, Mr. Nathaniel Essex had given her the mission to possess Alex Wayne's body and if she couldn't do it, she must make sure to kill him.

After a few days in Genosha she had the opportunity to meet a person from the Genosha management team. Upon taking possession of his body, she began to plan how to approach Alex Wayne.

Since she had now infiltrated the management team, all she had to do was take possession of Genosha's management head and find an excuse to see Alex Wayne.

Once she was alone with the head of management, she took control of his body.

The head of management did not have the opportunity to defend himself.

Once in the body of the head of management, Malice quickly made her way to the Council meeting room.

That place was where Alex Wayne spent most of his time.

Upon arrival, she told a guard to notify the Governor of her arrival.

The guard returned a few minutes later and told her that the Governor was waiting for her.

Malice just smiled as her plans were going perfectly.

She entered quickly and went to the Governor's office. Receiving permission to enter, Malice enters.

Inside the office, Malice could see four people including Alex Wayne.

The other three people were a woman and two girls.

One of the girls seemed to be whispering something in Alex Wayne's ear, but since Malice didn't see any change in Alex's face, she deduced it was nothing important.

"Oh, management head, that you visited me so urgently means that something important came up, right?" Alex Wayne asked.

Malice smiling answers:

"Yes, there has been a problem in the budget for the purchase of heavy machinery that I want to clarify with you"

"I see, then pass me the documents to review them and if the problem is not serious, then I will allow it"

Malice is excited, she will finally complete this mission.

Just when she was about to touch Alex's hand.

Alex quickly reached out with his right arm and grabbed Malice by the head.

Due to Alex's 'Imagine Breaker', Malice was forcibly forced to leave the body of the head of management.

Malice in spirit form was stunned and scared, because the moment Alex Wayne touched her, she felt her entire spirit body break into pieces.

While Malice was in a daze, the woman in the room who was Psylocke, locked Malice in a psychic sphere trapping her.

Malice, seeing the position she was in, realized that she had underestimated Alex Wayne.

Alex Wayne POV

Looking at the spirit woman trapped in Psylocke's psychic sphere, I relax.

I knew this woman must have been sent by Cameron Hodge or one of his friends.

Patting the girl's head next to me I say:

"Thank you Maria, without your help we would not have been able to catch her"

"He's right, good job Maria" Laura said.

Little Maria felt a bit embarrassed by our praise.

"It's nothing, if I can help brother Alex I will" the little girl said.

The girl is from the group of children that I saved from the bastard Zander.

During this time the girl's powers have improved to amazing levels.

Before, she could only detect mutants close to her position. Now she not only detects nearby mutants, but she can detect them at great distances, differentiate them by their physical and psychic energy signatures and also tell if they have hostile intentions.

That is the reason why we knew this person's movements the moment she arrived in the capital.

Parting ways with the girls, Psylocke and I took Malice in for questioning.

Since it's time for the counterattack.
