When I got rid of the demons, I realized that the giant bat, which was the lead demon's mount, was the only one left and it seemed like it wanted to escape.

Seeing it rise through the sky, I say:

"Psylocke, don't let it get away"

Psylocke without saying anything disappears and appears on top of the giant bat. Then with her energy swords she cuts off its wings.

The demon lets out a cry of pain and falls from the sky hitting the ground.

The demon gets up and tries to escape but I walk over to it and slam its head on the ground.

"You will answer some questions of mine or I will make you disappear like your friends" I say while I continue to crush its head.

The frightened demon just growls.

Annoyed, I increase my strength in my leg and I keep pressing it against the ground and I say:

"I know you can talk bastard"

The demon stops growling and remains silent for a few seconds before saying:

"If I tell you what I know, my master will kill me"

After that the demon does not speak again.

Seeing that it wasn't going to speak, using my 'Imagine Breaker' I destroyed its existence.

When we were going to leave the place, a large number of vehicles surrounded the park.

I recognized them, they were from SHIELD.

Nick Fury comes out of one of the vehicles, accompanied by Clint Barton and Natasha Romanoff.

Approaching us Fury says:

"Tell me what happened"

Shrugging, I tell him what happened.

When I finish telling him, Nick Fury says:

"Strange creatures looking for a girl you're taking care of... you really know how to get into trouble, Alex"

"What can I say, the girl calls me Papa, so I must do my duty and take care of her, right?" I said as Kitty hands me an excited Illyana.

"Papa, you looked great when you beat those monsters" Illyana said while hugging me

I just gently pat her head.

"So now you're a father, Alex... and who's the mother?" Natasha smiling asked.

Wanda really wanted to pounce on Natasha but Psylocke stops her.

Natasha just smiles triumphantly as she successfully provokes Wanda.

Fury ignores the girls' discussion and asks me:

"What are you going to do?"

"Don't worry, I'll protect her and if those things appear again, I'll take care of them" I answered.

Fury nods his head and says:

"As long as you're in New York, we'll give you support"

When he finished speaking, he left with his team.

Before she left, Natasha kissed me on the cheek, which provoked Wanda even more.

Clint Barton just nodded.

When SHIELD left, we decided to go back to Xavier's mansion.

After all, Illyana seemed to be tired.
