Alex Wayne POV

Dr. McCoy did extensive tests on Illyana, but the girl was restless, so I had to calm her down to make the process go quickly.

About twenty minutes later, Dr. McCoy had finished his tests.

While we were waiting for the girl's results, the little girl started playing with Colossus.

Who seemed happy to receive his sister's attention.

"Is it true that the United Nations will allow you to create an embassy here in New York?" Charlie asked.

"Yes, although they had an ulterior motive to bring me here, their idea is a good one" I answered.

"An ulterior motive?" Charles asked confused.

"Well, I was brought here to fall into the trap of a terrorist organization, although the idiots must not have known it was one" I said with a shrug.

"I see, even when we want to be accepted, they still want to reject us" Charles said with a sigh.

While we were talking, the door of the room is opened and Dr. McCoy enters saying:

"I already have the results"

"Well, how is my sister?" Colossus asked anxiously.

"Calm down, according to the results there is no problem, actually the little girl is completely healthy"

"Which shows that it is a problem of the psyche. So with enough time, little Illyana will recover all her memories"

"I also recommend that she continue under the care of Mr. Alex, since if we separate her from him, it could make the girl emotionally worse"

When Dr. McCoy finished speaking, we all fell silent to process the information.

After a little conversation, we decided to do as the doctor said.

Even Colossus agreed.

So we ended the conversation since it was very late and little Illyana wanted to sleep.

They all went to their respective rooms, we decided that the girl would sleep with Wanda and Psylocke.

The next morning, I had to make breakfast again since the little girl asked me to.

Laura was the one assisting me in the kitchen.

We were very much in sync as when I cooked in Genosha she would always assist me.

After having breakfast, we begin to relax in the courtyard of the mansion.

While we relax, Psylocke and Wanda say:

"Alex, we have visitors"

I felt it too, so looking at the sky where portals appear I say:

"Let's give them a good welcome"
