I was really in a daze but recovering myself, I went to Wanda and hugged her.

Wanda was surprised when I hugged her. but she quickly calmed down and hugged me back.

The others were also surprised and happy by the news.

When we finally calm down, I ask Maya:

"How far along is she in her pregnancy?"

"She is two months pregnant" Maya answered.

While I was gently stroking Wanda's belly, Pietro asks Maya:

"Wait, didn't you say that apart from the good news there was also incredible news?"

We all react to hearing Pietro's words.

Nodding, Maya says:

"The incredible news has to do with the embryo and Wanda, because Wanda's new abilities are due to the embryo"

We are all surprised.

"What do you mean?" Magneto asked.

"Putting it in simple words, the embryo considered that its mother did not have enough physique to give birth to it, so in some way it modified Wanda's genetics and improved it" Maya said.

Everyone falls silent in surprise.

I had an idea of what was happening with the embryo, I guess it has to do with my 'Genetic Adapter' gift.

"That's amazing, I suppose it has to do with the father" Natasha said.

Hearing her words, everyone turns their eyes towards me.

"You're right, that's why I want a sample of your blood Alex" Maya said.

I agreed to give it to her.

Everyone here present knows how special my body is, so they did not doubt that it was because of me that my future child did that.

After a few minutes of testing my blood, Maya says:

"Fascinating, your DNA is the most unique I've ever seen. Not only does it enhance your body on a genetic level, it adapts it to any changes that affect it, both externally and internally. It could be said that you evolve to make yourself perfect"

"As I thought, I'm amazing" I said jokingly.

The girls roll their eyes at my attitude.

"Well, ignoring the shameless Alex, we have to celebrate that Wanda is pregnant" Jessica said.

My face twitched at Jessica's words, but I didn't complain, since most of the girls in the room were looking at me sharply.

Before we left the lab, Maya asked me for more blood samples because, according to her, my blood may hold the key to curing any disease.

And I don't doubt that.

I allowed it, but on the condition that she destroy my blood once she developed any kind of serum.

The next day, all of Genosha is celebrating the news that I am going to have a child.

The culprit that the news was known to everyone was Pietro.

That guy was a big mouth, especially when he was excited.

The girls beat him up for that.

I don't take pity on that fool.

To my surprise, the inhabitants of Genosha were the most excited.

What I didn't know was that the people of Genosha considered me almost like a king, so my child was considered an heir.
