Polaris notices that Mantis Brandt is waking up.
"Alex, the girl is getting up" she warned him.
Alex put aside the analysis of the machine and looked at Mantis.
Still confused, Mantis walked out of the machine and looked around.
When she saw the wounded priests on the ground and a group of people, she didn't know looking at her, she became nervous.
"What's going on here, who are these people and what have they done to the priests?" a nervous Mantis asked.
Although the girl is a living deadly weapon, she did not have much experience in dealing with the situation that occurred in this place.
Seeing Mantis, the head priest on the ground says:
"They are the enemies Mantis, take care of them"
Hearing the priest's words, Mantis looks at Alex's group.
"Is that true?" Mantis asked.
Before the priest says anything else, Alex interrupts him saying:
"It's true, we are your enemies miss"
The priest, Mantis, Polaris, Natasha and Irene are stunned to see Alex accept it so easily.
Mantis hesitated to attack them and felt more confused.
Seeing her confused, Alex approaches her and placing his hand on her shoulder, he asks:
"Are you okay?"
Mantis is surprised but still responds by saying:
"Yes, Mantis doesn't know what to do, it's very confusing. She doesn't know much about what to do in these situations, just today she was excited to go outside and see the world"
Nodding his head, Alex says wistfully:
"I understand you, I was also like you, ignorant of the world. But by going out and exploring, I grew up"
Mantis nodded feeling identified with Alex's words, after all she wanted to go out into the world and learn.
"Is the outside world interesting?" a curious Mantis asked.
"Of course, although there are bad things, it also has its good things" Alex answered.
Seeing the interaction of Alex and Mantis, the priest became angry and speechless.
When he wanted to say something to Mantis, a piece of liquid metal covered his mouth preventing him from speaking.
"Don't talk, you'll just bother them" Polaris said.
She had been the one to shut his mouth.
The group of priests who saw what happened to their leader fell silent.
"Alex really never ceases to amaze me" Natasha said as she watched Alex chat calmly with Mantis.
"You're right, but that's what makes being with Alex such a fun experience" a smiling Irene said.
Yes, the girls were also surprised when they saw Alex converse so naturally with Mantis. But since they knew his way of being, they quickly understood.
"Then what do we do?" Polaris asked.
"Let's wait for Alex to finish talking to the young woman" Irene said.
As they are talking, Psylocke and Domino appear near them.
"Did you get it?" Irene asked seeing Domino and Psylocke appear at her side.
"It was a piece of cake" Domino said showing the book she was holding in her right hand.
Domino and Psylocke look around and see Alex talking to Mantis, while around them there are men lying on the ground.
"What happened here?" Domino asked as she handed the book to Irene.
Sighing, Polaris says:
"It's a weird story"
