The Overpowering Alex Wayne Part 2

"I'm testing it to be able to use it in the future" I said.

"Why?" Irene asked.

"I want to understand the reason why my alternate future self uses it. If it was me, I would never have thought of using it for myself" I explained.

"You mean your future self had a serious motive that made him use it?" Mystique asked.

Nodding my head, I say:

"Yeah. I think that Alex, like me, never wanted to use it, but that was a mistake and he regretted not having used it before"

My deduction makes everyone in the room shocked.

"You mean that Alex couldn't prevent a misfortune that happened to him?" Irene asked.

After all, she's better at understanding the visions.

I nod my head.

"If so, then I'll find a way to use it" I said as I show them the gauntlet on my left hand.

Irene fell silent and just nodded her head in agreement.

Seeing her accept, I just smiled and gently caressed her cheek.

Just as we were going to continue testing, Riri's computer turned on and we heard a voice saying:

"Miss Riri, the enemy ships are a hundred miles off the coast of Genosha"

"Alright Alexa, keep watching them" Riri said in carefree way.

"Understood" Alexa replied.

The one called Alexa is an artificial intelligence created by Riri to watch over and protect Genosha.

Irene, Mystique and Psylocke are surprised to hear Alexa's words.

"What's going on Alex?" Mystique asked.

"It's nothing, it's just the idiots from Hydra and A.I.M. coming to attack us" I said casually.

Yes, I had been monitoring the movements of Hydra and A.I.M. That's why I knew about this attack.

"But isn't that dangerous? I think I should inform the others" a worried Irene said.

"Well, go ahead, but tell them to stand by, since I want to try this new toy" I said as I showed them the gauntlet and smiled like a child.

Irene didn't know whether to laugh or cry when she saw Alex act like that.

Mystique leaves the lab to warn the Council members and prepare for the invasion.
