Time Travelers Part 1

Two hundred miles off the coast of Genosha

A figure rises to the sky emerging from the sea.

That figure is M.O.D.O.K., who had managed to survive the missile attack by using a psychic barrier.

"Shit, that bastard Alex Wayne will pay me back" an angry M.O.D.O.K. muttered while breathing heavily.

He had used his psychic powers to the maximum to protect himself and he was barely able to stay conscious.

Casting a resentful glance in Genosha's direction for a moment, he left the scene, fearful that Alex Wayne's forces would locate him.

If he knew that Alex Wayne didn't even care if anyone survived, M.O.D.O.K. wouldn't know what expression he would make.

Governor's Office

Alex Wayne POV

It's been almost two days since the A.I.M. attack and as always, I'm doing paperwork.

In that, Callisto enters my office and before I could ask her something, she says:

"Alex, you have visitors"

Confused, I ask her:

"Who?"

"It's Natasha and Captain America" Callisto answered casually.

I was surprised that they came to see me.

Of course, I had heard about their success in taking down Alexander Pierce and the Hydra members who had infiltrated SHIELD.

I had even received a call from Fury telling me of his victory and thanking me for the information I provided.

"Let them in" I said.

She nodded and left the office.

Seconds later, the office door is opened again.

And Callisto enters accompanied by Natasha and Captain America.

"Alex, it's been a while" a cheerful Captain said.

"Hello Alex" Natasha said as she took a seat without worrying about a thing.

I just nod my head.

After seeing them take their seats, I ask them:

"So what is the reason for your visit?"

Looking at me strangely, Natasha answers:

"Fury sent us saying that you had a proposal for him"

I raised my eyebrow at Natasha's words until a memory of my conversation with Fury came back to me.

Smiling, I say:

"Now I remember, I have two offers for Fury"

"One is to provide him with technology for free"

This surprises them.

"You want to be a sponsor of SHIELD..." Natasha said.

"Why?" Captain asked.

"I have my reasons and don't worry, this has to do with my second offer" I said.

"So what's your second offer?" Natasha asked.

"I want to offer him personnel, after all due to the Hydra infiltrators, they must lack people to help them in their mission to protect the world"

"So I offer him personnel with very good capabilities"

My offer left both stunned.
