Alex Wayne POV

I am currently in the twins' room accompanied by the Ancient One, Wanda, Polaris, Riri and Emma.

The Ancient One is using a diagnostic spell on the twins.

She is doing it because of the pulses of energy the babies were releasing almost daily.

Although they did not cause any harm, we decided to find out if they had any negative effects on babies.

"So what is the result?" I asked the Ancient One, seeing that she had finished her diagnosis.

After thinking about it for a few seconds, with a calm look the Ancient One answers:

"There is no problem with your children, the pulses of energy that they release is due to the increase in their powers and the rapid adaptation capacity of their bodies"

"Will it stop at some point?" a concerned Wanda asked.

"Yes, but it will take time. The children's energy will continue to grow until they come of age. So that the energy pulses do not go outside, I will create a barrier throughout Genosha" the Ancient One answered.

I just put a bitter smile on my face. Actually, I hadn't called the Ancient One.

Yesterday the twins released a very powerful pulse of energy which, after a review by Riri, was felt throughout the world and even escaped into space.

Due to that pulse of energy, the Ancient One came to me as soon as she felt it.

So I told her about my children's situation and that's why she made them a diagnosis.

"How long will it take you to do it?" Riri asked.

"If you help me, I'll finish it faster," the Ancient One said with a smile as she looked at Riri, Wanda, and Polaris.

The three women nodded in agreement.

Quickly, the Ancient One and company left the room to create the barrier.

I decided to stay and watch over my children while the Ancient One did her thing.

While I was sitting near the cradle, Emma approaches me and hugging me says:

"Wanda gave you some beautiful children, so when is it my turn to do it?"

I cursed inside my mind. I knew this girl just wanted to tease me, but I knew how to fight back.

"Really? Then what do you think if after this I fulfill your wish?" I said to her as I sat her on my lap.

With a flirtatious smile, Emma says:

"I would like that, but I have some business to attend to"

My smile tensed, this girl gets into the game but leaves me hanging.

Calming my mood, I ask her:

"Does it have to do with the school?"

"Yeah, things are great, some of the youngsters are still struggling to adjust but I'm helping them" Emma answered cheerfully.

I know that she was very enthusiastic about her work as principal and teacher.

That's why I listened to her without interrupting her.
