Vacation Part 3

I did not doubt Riri's words since out of curiosity I made her investigate the existence of the multiverse.

Even the Ancient One told her about it and taught her spells just in case.

Wait, that baldy old lady might have known this would happen and so she taught Riri.

Damn, I thought we were friends, but it looks like I need to talk to her when I get back.

I know that Riri has a way to come back since the bracelets she currently wears are connected to Jane's portal and with some adjustments, it would be ready.

But when I look at the girls, I froze, their eyes are shining with infinite curiosity.

I feel tired seeing their attitude and clenching my teeth, I wanted to tell Riri that we should go back but Wanda with a smile says:

"Since it's our vacation, it will be fun to stay in a parallel world"

They all nod their heads.

Sighing, I can only accept it.

Now the only thing left is to move from this place.

"Since it's our vacation… Riri, activate anti-tracking spells and prevent the Ancient One of this universe from finding us" I said to her, since they decided to stay.

Riri nodded and went to work on it.

Although I know that because of me they will find us, at least I hope this gives us a little time.

According to the Ancient One, she didn't notice me until I started drawing attention.

Also, I don't know if in this universe it's the Ancient One or Strange.

Once the spells are activated, we leave the place.

When leaving that place, the first thing is to get money and an idea of how to do it occurs to me.

With a mischievous smile on my face, I take out my cell phone and update the system to avoid any anomaly, once done, I start to check the network.

"What are you doing?" Wanda asked me when she saw my smile.

"Since this place is a parallel universe, there must be a Kingpin, right?" I replied continuing with my work.

The women quickly understood what I was doing.

I quickly tried the Kingpin accounts, although some were different, luckily the others had the same passwords and creating my own account, I transferred all the money.

I wonder if the Kingpin will react like his counterpart.

Using Alexa, I bought a small fully furnished mansion here in New York, with money in my pockets it was a cinch.

Sure, we had to wander around for a few hours before our new home was ready.

We got into two taxis and Psylocke confused the drivers so they wouldn't discover our identity.

Most of the girls that accompanied me have very important identities in any universe.

That's why they changed their hair color using Riri's gadgets.

Although they look the same, only someone who knows them personally will identify them.

Once we had our little walk, we went to our new home.

Once we settle in, we relax.

Now it was time to fully find out what universe we are in.

One Day Later

Using Alexa, I investigated the SHIELD files.

And I found interesting things.

It is currently the year 2007.

This appears to be the 616 universe, but I can't be entirely sure.

The Avengers exist and have been doing their work for some time.

Apart from them, there are the Defenders, Fantastic Four, New Warriors, and X-Men.

SHIELD is being directed by Maria Hill.

Fury has been missing since the Manhattan incident, I guess it's the fallout from his Secret War.

The Hulk is nowhere to be found, that means he was sent into space by the Illuminati.

Genosha is destroyed and over 16 million Mutants are dead.

M-Day had occurred and the Mutant population had all but disappeared.

Upon discovering this, I knew that the situation of this universe was screwed.

With a bad premonition, I searched for information on the Wanda of this universe and couldn't find anything.

"Damn..." I muttered.

The girls heard my murmur and approached me.

Sighing, I told them the situation of this universe.

They all had strange looks upon hearing about the situation in this universe.

I began to look for information of each counterpart of them.

The Psylocke of this universe had returned to her country to replace her brother.

Rogue was at Xavier's Mansion.

Irene, well, there isn't a clone of her and the original is dead.

Laura Kinney is traveling the world.

Illyana Rasputina is a teenager and is in Xavier's Mansion.

And Riri Williams is currently a kid.

As for Est, I'm guessing it's a cube right now.

"Do you still want to stay in this world?" I asked them.

"Why not? I'm curious about the me of this world and why she did that, besides, in this place our vacations will be longer" Wanda answered with a smile.

I understood what she meant.

According to Riri's research, it was found that the time of this place is faster than that of our universe.

According to her, one week in our universe is two months and one week here.

I shrugged, since they wanted to stay, there's nothing I can do.

Once they went off to do their thing, I seriously thought about this matter.

What bothered me was that according to the sequence of events, the 'Civil War' saga would happen very soon.

So I'll have to keep an eye on those New Warriors kids.

Another thing is when they discover us.

Just because of what the Wanda of this universe did, they will come to bother.

And then I realize that Irene was stunned for a moment.

I quickly approach her.

"Is something wrong, Irene?" I asked her when she recovered.

The others also approach worried.

Massaging her temple, Irene says:

"It seems that we won't be able to enjoy our vacation much, I have had a vision of an incident in this world that will divide the heroes and everything will start from a mistake"

I feel strange hearing that, since I was thinking about it just now and now Irene had a vision of that incident.

"Looks like it wasn't a good idea to stay here" Wanda said as she frowned.

"But we can't just leave now, it will make us uncomfortable" Rogue added.

Psylocke, Riri and Laura nod their heads.

"I see, then Irene, tell us more about your vision" Wanda said after a few seconds of silence.

Irene nodded her head and began to narrate what would start this incident.

What she told was almost like what happened in the comics with the New Warriors.

She saw that this incident would occur in Stamford, Connecticut.

I guess I'll have to step in and take the consequences, after all it would leave a bad taste in my mouth to do nothing.
