The Inheritors Part 23

All the arachnids present were surprised as they did not expect an Inheritor to appear in their temporary home, especially alone.
Cosmic Spider-Man frowned as the situation was bad, but remembering that this was his universe, he relaxed.
Silk and the Superior Spider-Man found the situation strange, so they quickly closed in on their group.
"I really must praise your ignorance, you believed that by hiding on this Earth you would be safe" Solus said calmly as he looked at Cosmic Spider-Man, who was approaching him while floating a few meters above the ground.
"It's normal for them to be safe, after all I have the power to protect them" Cosmic Spider-Man replied as he took a long look at Solus.
"Then let me prove to you that that's a big mistake" Solus said as he fed off the energy of the two Spider-Man in his hands.
Once finished, he throws the remains without any emotion.
Cosmic Spider-Man's face turns cold at his actions, he's just humiliating them.
He is not the only one, the faces of all the arachnids present darken.
"So boy, will you start rebelling against me or will you just let yourself be captured?" Solus asked calmly without putting Cosmic Spider-Man in his eyes.
Solus, unlike his children, was not arrogant but instead used that feigned arrogance so that his enemies would not take him seriously and let their guard down.
The Enigma Force surrounds Cosmic Spider-Man and looks coldly at Solus, his actions speaking for himself.
"I see, always resisting a predetermined destiny, but never mind, I'm here to show you the truth" Solus said as he lunged towards Cosmic Spider-Man.
The enigma arachnid is not surprised and using the Enigma Force confronts Solus.
Their combat had begun!

Before the battle could begin, Silk and the Superior Spider-Man had regrouped with their partners.
Ghost-Spider, Spider-Venom, Spider-Man 616, Scarlet Spider, Spider-Girl, and the Parker family all relaxed at the sight of them.
"What do we do now, boss?" Spider-Venom asked with a bit of concern.
Silk frowns at her partner's question.
If she could, she would help Cosmic Spider-Man but she knows that they would only hinder him, besides, with the power of the Enigma Force they would also be affected.
"Hmph! What else can we do? The only thing is to wait for the outcome of the battle, and if things go wrong, we must escape" the Superior Spider-Man answered coldly.
The others, although upset with his words, know that he is right.
Now they can only see the outcome of the battle and hope for victory.
"Cindy Moon, a moment ago you said that you knew where the other Inheritors might be held. Those people could be great allies" the Superior Spider-Man said remembering the conversation before Solus came to interrupt.
Hearing his words, her group was shocked and looked at Silk.
Although they did not fully understand, they knew that on one Earth someone managed to capture Inheritors.
What did that show? It meant that there could be very powerful potential allies and they would also have a safe place to stay while their battle against the Inheritors continued.
Silk frowns and looks at the little bracelet.
"I'm only 90% sure" she replied.
"That's better than zero, so get it ready in case we have to escape. You guys help me get the word out so most of us can escape" the Superior Spider-Man replied and ordered without hesitation.
If it was someone else, he wouldn't trust her, but Cindy Moon was different and he could trust her.
Ghost-Spider, Scarlet Spider, Spider-Venom, Spider-Girl, and Spider-Man 616 nodded their heads and went to notify the others to be ready.
The information was transmitted quickly and the arachnids were already prepared for the worst.
Silk began to modify the bracelet that Ariel Wayne gave her so that she could open more portals to that Earth, because if not, only a few will be able to escape.
Of course, while they were preparing, they still paid attention to the fight between Cosmic Spider-Man and Solus, since the result will decide what they will do.

Solus was sent crashing to the ground by Cosmic Spider-Man's Enigma Force punch.
Although he was hit, Solus was unharmed and quickly got up.
Cosmic Spider-Man frowned as he realized that the Enigma Force was being absorbed by Solus.
He found that incomprehensible as the Enigma Force is very mysterious.
Landing softly, Cosmic Spider-Man looks at Solus, who is also calmly watching him.
"Surprised that I can feed on your energy? That's normal, unlike my children, my abilities are greater and don't forget that you are a Spider-Totem which makes you my prey" Solus said calmly without showing much expression.
Solus was a little alarmed, even when he was fighting this arachnid, he noticed the strange movements of the other arachnids. That let him know that they wanted to escape and Solus had no time to lose to start hunting them through different Earths.
"Well, let's stop wasting time, your energy will be mine" Solus said calmly charging towards Cosmic Spider-Man.
The latter fires a powerful beam of Enigma Force and holds Solus down, but he knows it won't last long.
"Spiders! We have a great power and it is our responsibility to use it correctly, don't forget it. Go away, I will stop him long enough!" he yelled at the arachnids present and showed a smile on his face.
He was strong but to defeat the Inheritors it is not only necessary to have power but also to have an unbreakable will, and he knows that his fellow arachnids have it and they will be victorious.
As soon as he finished speaking, a large number of portals opened, and some sad and angry arachnids entered them, escaping from the place.
They were clear, they were not strong enough to defeat him.
Once the portals closed, only Cosmic Spider-Man and Solus remained.
"You really did something stupid" Solus said calmly, having closed in on Cosmic Spider-Man resisting the Enigma Force's beam.
Once close, Solus reaches out and grabs Cosmic Spider-Man by the throat and wordlessly begins to absorb his energy.
"Y-you may be right, but I'm a Spider and irritating my enemies is our specialty" Cosmic Spider-Man replied as the life drained from his body.
Throwing away the remains of Cosmic Spider-Man, Solus angrily left that Earth.
The hero of Earth-13 had fallen.
