Chapter 11 A Relic

"Now that it's all right..."

When Sherman was about to ask Sinard to leave, she sat down on another chair.

"Go ahead with your work. I'll sit here for a while."

Sherman pretended to work, but in fact, he was checking the blueprint and planning for the next step.

Sherman planned to expand around the sacred tree as the center of the town in a circle.

His residence, office, and some important facilities would be built in the center of the town.

Now there were seven hundred pieces of wood, three hundred pieces of stone, and other offcuts.

Sherman chose to demolish those old buildings.

All the things that could be collected would be collected, and those that could not be collected would be thrown aside.

"Sinard."

Sinard, who was absent-minded, came to herself and asked, "What's wrong, marquis Sherman?"

There was a hint of joy in her words.

What was Sherman going to say to her?

"To build a church is your request or the imperial government's?"

"Of course, it's the request of the imperial government."

Sinard didn't take it seriously. "They said it would be best if you agree. If you don't, it's okay."

Of course, she wanted to focus on Sherman.

Sherman emphasized to Sinard, "Stay here and don't get involved in what you shouldn't do. Otherwise, you can go back to the city. Do you understand?"

Sinard agreed reluctantly.

As long as she can stay with Sherman, she didn't care about the church at all.

It had nothing to do with her.

Today's collection team brought back a large number of materials, and no one was injured or killed.

"Isn't there any fish monster attack today?"

Roy asked about the details.

He looked for Catlow everywhere in the town but didn't find him. He didn't know where he was.

The temporary leader of today's collection team recalled the situation and hesitated. "There seems to be a relic in the red forest."

But he was not sure. After all, he only saw a corner.

A relic?

When could they get the chance to deal with this kind of thing?

Roy didn't say anything for a long time. He pulled him aside and whispered.

"Are you sure it's a relic?"

"I'm not sure. I just saw a little. It's not a tree, but a stone brick with edges."

Today, the team still went to the red forest to collect materials.

There were woods, stones, herbs, wild fruits, and some other things, such as fish.

While they were cutting wood, the captain went to the side to have a rest.

To be exact, it was not a rest, but a slacking.

The leader tried to embellish his behavior, but Roy didn't say anything.

The captain breathed a sigh of relief and continued.

The fish monsters attacked him when he was resting.

To escape, he ran into the forest in a hurry.

Although the ground in the forest seemed to be in danger, it was much better.

He was chased by the fish monsters and broke into an unexpected open space. Then he saw the place which might be a relic.

The bricks were covered with moss, and the traces of sunshine and rain were very obvious.

He took a quick look and ran away.

Because it was not the style of the town, he didn't think it was a hunting house or any other building.

"Come with me!"

Roy didn't care about anything else and took him to Sherman.

This kind of thing was not trivial.

After listening to the description, Sherman thought for a moment.

A relic?

He didn't expect such a treasure land to be hidden in the barren place of the thorny swamp.

However, treasures were often accompanied by risks. Now they were too weak to explore the relic.

He sighed with regret.

"You did a good job. Don't worry. Do you remember the general location of the relic?"

Sherman asked politely, looking at his nervous face.

The leader of the collection team roughly described the location.

He ran into the room in a hurry and could only recall the general situation.

Sherman marked on his blueprint.

When the scale of the town became bigger and the soldiers were well trained, they would come to explore the relic.

The top priority was to improve the satisfaction of the residents and give the territory an upgrade.

The whole town was quiet at night, and Sherman came to a place he had seen during the day.

There was a small abandoned place, on which no one was willing to repair. It was full of old houses and abandoned facilities.

Sherman destroyed them directly.

All the data that could be collected would be collected, and those that could not be collected would be destroyed through his system.

Then he chose a wooden house in the open space.

It didn't take long for the dilapidated houses and facilities to become beautiful and solid wooden houses.

The next day, the townsmen passing by were surprised.

"When did it be built?"

"I don't know. But it is really beautiful."

The townsmen talked about it with admiration.

Their house was a little windless and was about to fall.

They wondered what master marquis was going to do by building these wooden houses.

Catlow was among them, full of viciousness.

'Just laugh. The happier you laugh now, the more miserable you will fall, marquis.'

While he was thinking, his shoulder was patted.

Caught off guard, Catlow shivered with fear.

"Who? What's up?"

Seeing that it was Roy, he became frivolous and said, "Isn't this our respecting town mayor?"

Roy remained calm.

"The people who ran to the swamp yesterday are your two friends, right? If you know where they have gone or come back, tell me immediately."

After saying that, Roy left, leaving Catlow behind.

'Does Roy know that those two men are my men?'

Catlow's face darkened.

Catlow ignored Roy's words.

'Tell him when they come back?'

'Joking?'

Thinking of this, Catlow left the crowd quietly.

Roy began to choose the collection team.

The roads in the thorny swamp were limited, and the areas protected by the divine tree were more limited.

When they saw the mud, they suddenly realized where they had been.

"But where did they go?"

They felt a little regret and looked at each other.

'How can we go back next?'

It was all that damn woman's fault!

They could only hold the stick in their hands tightly and walk towards the town with their blurred memories.

They hadn't been in the swamp for so many years, and they had poor combat experience.

The swamp at night was so quiet that people trembled with cold.

"Do you think we..."

The road was dark, and the sticks in their hands were used to explore the way.

They knocked on the ground and knew what kind of road they couldn't walk.

"Be quiet, coward. We'll go back."

The other man was very cold and looked straight ahead. In fact, he was also quite nervous.

Fish monsters wouldn't show mercy to a single or group traveler.
