An Unnatural Bound

"Huh? What-?"

Alexander said confused but before he know a light emits from the suit he was wearing and it turned into old-style black colored high-ranking officer clothing. Or at least it looked like one.

"Wow... well not my style but it's still cool... I will just wear a suit again when I go out."

He continued to walk again and starts to explore the kingdom cheerfully and tried to talk to people here and there to improve his confidence in talking again.

After exploring the area for nearly two hours he found himself in front of an "inn" which he just looked at it and nodded.

"I will rest here."

He opens the door and walks inside the inn which looked just like any other inn he has seen in webtoons and television shows.

'Wow...'

He said internally and looked around the place which clearly looked very busy. Everyone, there seems happy and enjoys their time together which suddenly made him bite his lower lips in jealousy.

He could not help but get jealous. He still remembers how much struggle he had to do to survive in this ruined world alone for five years... but now he sees everyone here so happy and carefully his chest tightened a little.

He was clearly not a bad guy but he just has one question 'Why me?' he still wonders how did he survive... he does not remember much about his past but he only remembers one thing. The despair he felt surviving alone for so long.

He clenched his fist tightly as something burns up in his chest but suddenly he felt someone hugging his waist.

"Welcome!"

He looked down and saw a little boy hugging him tightly which suddenly made a smile appear on his face and every negative thought to go away.

He slowly bend down and hugged him back feeling his warmth which made him feel an unexplainable feeling.

"Hello there- and who may you be little guy?"

He broke the hug and pats the kid now looking carefully at him to see what exactly he looks like.

The boy was very young around 4 or 5. He had a big and charming smile across his feminine-looking face which made him look even cuter than a normal kid. He had short red hair and red eyes which looked similar to Alexander's eyes.

He was noticeable thin which Alexander could feel when he hugged him back but it was common. No one in this current world has a good build just yet. Everyone had starved for days making their body use every bit of fat on their body.

"I am the head waiter of this inn, Kevin! I welcome you, mister! what you wanna eat?"

"Well... what's the most expensive thing here?"

"Ho... mister seems rich" He giggled softly "Well the most expensive food here is the meat of the peak grade II boar! it cost 800 points per plate! it's very expensive!"

At this, he raises an eyebrow and slowly get up, and stopped patting him which made the child kinda nervous.

"M-mister you dont have to leave... there are still things you can get for 50 points too..." He said softly.

He smiled again lifts him in his arms "Kiddo dont worry I was just teasing you" He pulled his cheek "Wanna eat boar with me?"

The kid returned the smile and nodded at first but quickly shook his head no multiple times "No No No! It's too expensive mister!"

He let go of his cheek and the kid gently rub it "Dont worry this mister is very rich my cute waiter."

He walks to an empty seat and sits down with the kid placed next to him. A waitress came to him and took his order of two boar and then left to tell the chief to prepare for it after he gave the advance payment of 1000 points because the thing was very expensive. The kid was amazed at how rich he was which made his jaw drop a little.

"My cute little waiter close your mouth before a mosquito goes inside your mouth." He taps on his mouth a little which quickly made the kid close his mouth.

"Mister... you are so rich... but you shouldn't waste money here and there you know. You must save it for later-"

He just softly pats his head "I have enough point that even if I give this whole kingdom 10,000 points I would still have a lot of points."

He wasn't lying. He literally has infinite points and so he can do whatever he desires without any care.

"Now you flexing too hard mister... I also have killed a monster you know! even if it was with the help of other people! I know how the worlds work."

He said pouting since he was genuinely worried about him.

"Kids these days- well whatever."

And so they talked to each other for quite a lot of time. Even if they were close for only a few hours there was a weird bond between them. Alexander couldn't explain why but seeing him just made his chest light... maybe because he had lived alone for so long? maybe he had a younger brother once? he dont know but he still just wanna embrace this kid now.

The kid eats the boar cheerfully and burned his mouth multiple times which made him feed the kid himself after blowing off the heat.

After around 2 hours of talking it was super late in the night so even though he didn't want to leave Kevin, he had no choice but to book a room and go to sleep there because Kevin was yawning way too much.

He walked to the room and locked the door nicely before just laying down on the bed like he was super exhausted.

He was not exhausted physically but mentally. Why? Because of the fact just how much he had talked to people in this kingdom.

He enjoyed talking to Kevin but talking to anyone other than him made him use his brain to the highest.

"I wanna hug Kevin again..."

He mumbled to himself then suddenly sat up with a worried face and his eyes widen completely.

"AM I A FUCKING PEDO?"
