Chapter eighty eight

Dermot's pov

I imagined my expression looked like that of a fish. My mouth kept opening and closing on its own, words couldn't come.

I didn't know what to say, the sight of Devlin stripped me of my common sense.

I didn't know what to do, I looked at Carter and he was giving me a confused look.

He didn't know what was going on either.

I sighed, my time was up.

It was time to come clean and tell him everything hoping that he will forgive me.

"Cat got your tongue?" Devlin asked with a smirk.

I rolled my eyes at her, did she think coming to my house would make me lose my confidence.

She thought wrong.

I cleared my throat, schooling my expression to be blank.

"What are you doing here, Devlin?" I asked,

"Devin?" Carter asked in shock.

"Allow me to make the introductions," Devlin cut in, "Dermot meet Carter, Carter, Dermot," she paused.

"My twin sister who you have been sleeping with." She said.
