It was supposed to be a simple, innocent hug of a boy offering comfort to his distressed best friend. I could feel the moment he started to nose at the expanse of my throat, it had only taken a tiny brush of his nose against my skin to make me tremble against him and I instinctively tightened my hold around his broad shoulders as a small whimper slipped out before I could think. 

It must have been a mistake, I said to myself, but then he did it again, and again– his hot breaths fanning against my sensitive scent gland along with each firmer drags of his nose.

"What?" I echoed out, feeling confused for a moment because I didn't understand what she was suddenly talking about. I watched as she rolled her eyes for a moment before starting to speak.

"Well, most time's when two male best friends fight, it's mostly because of this issue, you know? Which was why I automatically assumed that was the reason…"

I let out a small scoff as what she had meant finally began to dawn on me, and an irritated sigh slipped past my lipstick as I turned the wires around in my head. Even if I was straight, I'd still never be able to do something like that Ash, and I'm sure he'd also never be a ke to do something like that to me. I also wasn't straight to begin with, I was the complete opposite.

I puffed out a small breath after a few moments, and then I began to speak. "Wel, that wasn't what happened between us, I don't know why you'd just assume that without knowing my best friend and I."
