CHAPTER 30

Jason paced back and forth in front of the entrance door. One could see the tension and excitement rolling off his shoulders. His legs were sore from walking around and his eyes were becoming very heavy with sleep as it was already early morning hours. His head snapped to the clock that tick-tocked away and he hissed in irritation.

What was taking him so long? He knew about his brother's habit of going out at night and coming back before dawn, that was why he decided to stay awake and drop the bombshell on him. His head quickly snapped to the entrance door when he heard the door being pushed open, 

The grave look on Edmund's face deepened when he saw his brother standing behind the door, "Ha! Look who finally decided to show up!" The little devil called out when he closed the door behind him.
