CHAPTER 31

Edmund strides were full of determination and anger as he stormed into Gabriella's room without a care in the world. He would have been surprised to see his parents kissing on the bed if he wasn't too angry at his mother at that moment. He watched as they quickly separated from each other 

"Where did you leave your manners, young boy?" Lord Martin's displeasure was so evident on his face as he glared at his son as he sat on the edge of the bed

"My manners? I think I left it somewhere in my room or in the stable." 

A loud gasp left Gabriella's mouth, to say she was in shock was an understatement, "That is no way to talk to your father, Edmund,"

"It's fine." Martin's eyes scrutinized the young man standing in the middle of the room. He reminded him so much of his youthful days. Those broad shoulders and sharp facial features had women swooning all over him. "It seems the young man has something to say. Am I correct, boy?"
