CHAPTER 33

Viscount William's eyes darted from left to right in search of someone. He wondered what was taking her so long. He was dying of nervousness and excitement. He had finally found the cause of his problem as well as the solution. Edmund. He was the reason Susan wasn't sending a wink his way, talking more of agreeing to his proposal of marriage. 

How could he have been so stupid and blind not to see what was right in front of him? It all made sense to him the day he had followed Edmund out of sheer curiosity. He had wanted to know the type of man Edmund was and was surprised to have followed the man up to Susan's mansion—her window to be precise. Fortunately for him, it had been the night of their break up.
