The Death's Couple

The place that was previously a vast meadow where the war took place, was immediately moved to a foreign place. Alfeus was still on Erida's lap whose robes disappeared to be replaced by her black dress. Now they were in a bed of colorful flowers. In a room containing only empty darkness on all sides and a single bed.

"This is the place where I have been detained all this time. Void, emptiness, whatever you call it. I better bring you here because I will be scolded again if I stay in the human world for too long," said Erida. "And this place is also my room."

That explained why there was a bed in an empty place like this.

"It's very quiet." Alfeus looked up at the empty sky. The further he looked the more he realized that it was futile because he certainly wouldn't find anything. "How do you survive in a place like this?" asked Alfeus curiously.
