Perseverance

At the moment, Adeliza Camer did not even see an ounce of her daughter from her memory in Eloria! She admitted that she rarely got to see her daughter since the latter joined the army and even succeeded her father as the Commander but...

Was it possible for someone to change this much? It was nonsense to her!

"It seems like he is there for a few hours now, Eloria," the Duchess pointed out, still feeling a bit confused. "The sun is strong today and it often rains after sunset too. What if he doesn't give up?"

Eloria said nothing, much to the helplessness of her mother who asked, "What mistake did he make for you to ignore him like that? Isn't he one of the soldiers you trust the most?" Letting out a soft sigh, she added, "Don't be too hard on the ones who serve you, Loria. Being hard on the enemies of our Aritish is enough."

Eloria still remained quiet and her mother almost gave up again before she heard her finally speak.
