When Duchess Camer walked inside her daughter's chamber, seeing her daughter simply reading some books despite the current situation wasn't a sight she expected to witness.
Her daughter seemed to care so less about the subordinate who was out there kneeling for hours and the Duchess couldn't understand. Her curiosity grew but she knew that even if she were to ask Eloria, it would be useless.
"Mother." Once again, Eloria was greeting her with that smile she struggled to read and Adeliza Camer could guess right away that she wouldn't succeed even if she were to talk to Eloria about Vicus again.
"Did you sleep well?" The Commander asked as she helped her mother to sit and also sat beside her after that.
"I did not sleep at all," Adeliza Camer frankly responded to her daughter after thinking twice. "I can't do that knowing someone is kneeling near the gate throughout the night."
