Learning about Cultivation

In Snowflake City,a large city under the jurisdiction of the Ice Phoenix Sect,a variety of people could be seen going in and out. Snowflake City was a hotspot for various businesses and many cultivators visited it. From auction houses, alchemy shops, trade markets to Weapon Stores. It was simply bustling with many activities.Security was tight in the city and any misconduct was dealt with by the law enforcers from Ice Phoenix Sect{All female Sect}.Any disdain towards the enforcers because they were females was easily silenced which made various troublemakers to fear for their lives.

Living in the city could be considered expensive and those having their accommodations there,could be considered wealthy and influential.

In a beautiful mansion adorned with intricate designs,two figures could be seen sitting in lotus position while facing each other. They were Lady Luan and the young five-years-old Jian Wushuang.

A bubbly expression was worn on the young boy's handsome face.To say he wasn't eager for his mother to start teaching him about cultivation was a lie.His starry blue eyes were mischievously probing his mother to begin the session.

Lady Luan looked at her son whose expression was high in the heavens and she couldn't help but lightly shake her head in amusement. She finally had come to understand his ever curious mind.

Lady Luan cleared her throat gently to switch the atmosphere into a serious mode.Jian Wushuang quickly adjusted himself to the mood and decided to listen carefully.

"Do you know what cultivation is?"Lady Luan asked gently."No,I don't know please enlighten me mother,"Jian Wushuang replied humbly even though he had a general guess what it was,he wanted to listen to his mother.

Lady Luan seeing her child like this,she couldn't help but praise him inwardly for being humble.

"Cultivation is the art of drawing in spiritual energy (Qi) from the surrounding in order to augment the body and increase our lifespans.This is usually done through using cultivation method manuals.The main goal of Cultivation is all in the end' Immortality'

Cultivators cultivate inorder to pursue being immortal, a goal that is impossible to many and only the heavens chosen are eligible to succeed. Cultivation itself is not easy.It is a long and arduous journey,fraught with imminent danger. People die everyday because of greed over various treasures. betrayal is experienced every now and then, relatives stabbing each other backs when one leaves their back unprotected.

Cultivators wiil just fight and kill each other for resources.It is always about benefits."She paused a bit.

"Cough,if I may ask can everyone always cultivate?"Jian Wushuang interjected."Ooh dear,not just anyone can be a cultivator.A cultivator's further ascension to higher realms is determined by aptitude /the quality of the spiritual roots or there are other category of people who are blessed with special physiques bestowed by the heavens just like The Moon Lady who in her case has a rare Moon physique.People with better quality aptitude cultivate much faster than their counterparts while normally those with special physiques tend to be unrivalled at the same level of cultivation realm.

The level of spiritual roots can be categorized from the lowest to the highest in the following order:{trash,low grade, middle grade, high grade , heaven grade and divine grade}. Since there is trash quality, essentially there are people who generally have no spiritual roots thus can't cultivate and remain mortals. Better level of spiritual roots and having a rare physique increases the comprehension level of the cultivator.This will help them in grasping various techniques easily but what really matters is hardwork and determination of the cultivator.

Also mastery over the said techniques has five levels namely: initial achievement, medium, advanced, perfection and finally grand completion level where one can be said to have fully mastered the technique and any attack unleashed by them is capable of tremendous damage to their opponents even to the point of obliteration.

For the cultivation realms I will tell you the First four major realms:{Body Tempering Realm,Qi condensation, Foundation Building and Golden Core realm}.The first realm of a cultivator is always vital for his or her cultivation path. You need to know that a sturdy foundation is always the way to go.A firm foundation means that you will not suffer any wall when breaking through to higher realms. Cultivation always needs patience and a trained mind. It is not always about jumping through realms to increase our lifespans.Other aspects such as a good mental fortitude should be considered. Cultivation should be performed in a steady manner lest you make waste.

Remember a shaky foundation is the end of the road for many cultivators out there.

Also cultivation is not always done by drawing in heaven and earth energy,it can be aided by the use of pills/elixirs concocted by alchemists which can help lessening the burden of breaking through new realms, simply loosening the bottlenecks. The pills are made from the essence of various spiritual herbs during Alchemy. Alchemy is a respected profession and the alchemists are highly sought after because of their prestige.

Another profession is artifact refining,where weapons are made by the refiners.These weapons will then help in improving the combat effectiveness of a cultivator when handled well.For example ,a swordsman with a high quality sword can easily beat those of the same level without weapons."Lady Luan finally concluded his explanation about cultivation, even though she left out some of the information Jian Wushuang knew he had obtained so much.

"Cultivation is truly full of infinite possibilities,"Jian Wushuang mused.He anticipated the day that he would stand at the peak of the world with unrivalled power.Power to control myriad beings and power to be truly immortal. He knew he hadn't started the journey yet but he instinctively knew that greatness awaited him. Despite the allure to start cultivation,he resorted to not do so .He wasn't in a hurry as he wanted to make sure he has complete control over his body before embarking on the Cultivation path.

"Mother at which age does cultivation usually start?"He asked nonchalantly.

"Normally for those geniuses from prominent families usually start at Five years since they have better resources and facilities for their training,"She answered and then proceeded to ask,"Do you want to start cultivation?"

"Eeh,no I don't want to start yet,I will tell you when am ready,"Jian replied while looking at the beautiful face of her mother.

"Okay suit yourself I will wait for you," she said with a smile before quickly grabbing the boy who was caught unawares.

"Mom,stop it,"Jian Wushuang lamented but you could see a satisfied smile on his face ,which was squashed against the bountiful melons,as he helplessly struggled against the warm embrace of her mother.

"It's too early for a brat like you to escape the lovely clutches of your dear mother,"lady Luan chided in a joking manner

Later on ,screams and giggles of a young boy and melodious laughs of a goddess could be heard all over the courtyard,the sound produced by them was so enchanting ,pity there wasn't a soul to witness this except for the dutiful servant Ah Ma.
