Chapter 30: A Mysterious Ride

When Lily opened her eyes again, the car was driving down the long, tree-lined entranceway of a sprawling property in the middle of nowhere. At a traffic circle, they rounded a huge fountain with cascading plumes of water dancing in the sun.

In the distance, she could see an expansive glass and brick building surrounded by elegant gardens. But before they reached it, the car suddenly veered off down a dirt road in the opposite direction.
