Luke poured coffee into two mugs and cursed under his breath as a drop splashed onto his hand. He shook his hand out and picked up both mugs, shuffling precariously to his bedroom so not to spill any onto his carpet.
Luke smiled at the lump in his blanket and set a mug of coffee on the nightstand beside it.
Abel stuck his head out from under the blanket, with his eyes mostly closed and his mouth set into a pouty frown.
"Coffee, Abel," Luke said, moving around the bed to his side and setting his coffee on his own nightstand.
Abel hummed and pursed his lips.
Luke smiled as he climbed back into bed next to Abel and pressed a kiss to his sleepy lips.
"Thanks for the coffee," Abel murmured and promptly dropped his head to the pillow again.
Luke's rubbed Abel's soft, fuzzy hair and, without opening his eyes, Abel scooted closer to Luke and slung an arm around his lap.
