Chapter 26: Murders at the Beach

As the dance was winding down, Drake and Lissa rejoined Parker and Damien outside the school.

“I can take you home too, Lissa, if you don’t have another ride,” Damien offered.

“I don’t want to go home yet,” Lissa said. “We should go to the beach.” She looked at Drake hopefully.

“The beach sounds like a wonderful idea,” Drake said, smirking. Parker shuddered.

“I don’t know, Lissa, it is pretty cold,” she said shivering. Damien took his suit jacket off and put it around her shoulders. Parker smiled, snuggling into the jacket.

“Not so cold now, is it?” Lissa teased her. Parker looked at Damien.

“What do you say, Brother?” Drake asked Damien. “Want to go on a field trip?”

“Parker, it is up to you,” Damien offered.

“Please, Parker, please?” Lissa begged, grabbing Parker’s hands and jumping up and down. Parker sighed.

“Alright, let’s go,” she said.

“Yay!” Lissa said, clapping her hands. She ran over to Drake and grabbed his hands, pulling him towards the Camaro.
