Parker was glad that Damien wasn’t freezing her out or giving her the cold shoulder. He definitely wasn’t as friendly to her anymore, but she could spend time with Lucien and Damien at their house without it feeling awkward.

The three of them decided to watch a movie and have some mindless fun to blow off steam. Parker curled up on the couch beside Lucien, resting her head on his shoulder. Damien sat in the comfy chair adjacent to them. The Miklos’s had a very large television and home theater system.

“Bits and pieces of different legends are bound to hold some truth,” he muttered.

A knock on the front door interrupted their movie. Lucien paused the show and glanced over at Damien.

“I’m not expecting anyone,” Damien said.
