Sylvester and Emmanuel stepped out of Mr.Wilfred's shop. Sylvester was glad that Mr. Wilfred had not turned down their request to work with him because of their families.
"I'm sure your parents would be elated to hear that you'll be working here," Emma said with a grin.
Sylvester immediately glared at Emmanuel.
"Hey..hey....man, I'm just saying..."Emma said, shrugging his shoulders."You know they won't be happy if they found out right?"
"Yes, I know that"Sylvester replied, his face looking serious."I've decided to tell them once I get home"
"Good luck with that"Emma said with a smile playing around the corners of his mouth.
"I don't need luck talking to my parents..do I now?" deadpanned Sylvester.
"If you say so" whispered Emma, least bothered by Sly's remark.
Both of them walked away from Mr. Wilfred's shop moving towards the next street where Robert, Emmanuel's driver had been waiting for them to return. On seeing them approach him, he quickly went to the car and opened the door to the back seat for them. Emmanuel thanked Robert and got into the sleek Mercedes Benz along with Sylvester.
Robert didn't understand why these two wanted to work as part-timers when they were so rich.
He brushed off the thought and went to sit in the driver's seat and took off.
Sylvester and Emmanuel did not talk much on their way home. One of the reasons being Emmanuel was very hungry since he had not eaten his breakfast before coming and he didn't have the energy to argue with Sylvester on several issues that would come up if they would start a conversation. Both of them were slightly opposite: Sylvester was the "always looking serious guy" and Emmanuel was the cheerful and funny one. They mostly didn't agree on the same things but understood each other. They had been best friends since childhood.
Robert dropped Sylvester in front of the Breckley mansion.
The Breckley mansion was a huge three-story building. It was one of the biggest and oldest mansions in Wetland.
Sylvester stepped out of the car and turned to look at Emma, who was comfortably sitting in the back seat of the car.
"See you tomorrow then" Sylvester waved at Emma.
"See you" Emma replied and waved back.
Sylvester saw Emma signal the driver and he drove away. He turned his back moving toward the mansion's gate, but before he could open it, someone opened the gate.
