Chapter 133

"I have bad news and good news for you." A man swathed in a brownish Stuart Hughes tuxedo whispered to the woman who crouched on the seat right opposite him. His dark hair was styled to the back, and his ego evident in his smile. His steel-blue eyes were fixed at the woman as he feeds off her fears. Shortly, he placed an enclosed document on her table, loitering for her to open it as he walked a distance and sat on the couch right opposite her. However, the woman's gaze was oddly stiff, as she gawked as though she had seen a ghoul.

She lifted her right hand, but for some reason struggled to reach for the documents right before her. She was squirming like she knew what was in the documents, but still, her petrified gaze was fixed on the man. Her hazel eyes hastily huddled tears, as she gently savaged her lower lips, with an erratically thumping heart.
