12 hours later, the groups of students exited the forest while holding two beasts in their hands.
Of course, there were students exiting much earlier than that as well – as soon as they finished their tasks.
The points assigned were not only based on the completion of the task but also on the quality of the beasts hunted. Let's say a group hunted an Lv.10 Squirrel while another group hunted an Lv.10 Flying Squirrel, which is much rarer than the previous, then obviously the second group would get more points, more like bonus points.
Hence, some students stayed behind to hunt better beasts and it was not until exactly 12 hours later that they exited.
Yes, all exited except Fen, Shen, Raiz, and Fred.
Fred went ahead alone, while Raiz, Fen, and Shen stuck together, despite that, none of them made it back, at least, not until now.

A few hours earlier…
"Can you see them?", Duan asked as he used his hands as binoculars.
Leo shook his head, "Nope. I can't see them at all."
