"There's no need for that, I don't want him to worry," she had said.
Jacob knew Damien. He knew his friend would leave everything he was doing and rush over to his house to pick his girl, even in a raging tsunami. He knew Bianca knew that as well, so his best guess was that she had another agenda.
He, however, didn't want to jump to conclusions. Damien would definitely leave the house but might end up getting stuck in traffic for the rest of the night, so he decided against it.
At about two am, Bianca had slipped into Jacob's room and had tried seducing him. Jacob almost fell for it. For a split second, he wanted to throw caution out the door and get down with her, because she hadn't any clothes on and she was breathtakingly beautiful under the silvery night sky seeping through the window. When he actually thought it through, he had decided against and fought her off. She was a determined lady. She made it difficult for him. She begged and struggled with him on the bed before Jacob succeeded in warding her off.
"Please Jacob, I need you. I've always needed you. I can't stop thinking of this moment with you. Please don't leave me hanging," she had pleaded, squirming to get back on the bed.
"I don't sleep with whores!" he had spat out before flinging himself off the bed and out of the room.
He had itched to call Damien but decided against it. His best friend was going to be devastated. What he did was call a cab since the rain had abetted. From his study, he sent her a text about the cab's arrival and didn't go back to his room till he was sure she had left.
One would think that since he rejected her, she was going to let go, but she didn't. She kept making subtle moves on Jacob here and there. Richard and Elijah even began noticing her abnormal closeness to Jacob. Damien on the other hand felt Jacob was interested in his girl. This had brought mini fights between Damien and Jacob.
Things came to light when Damien caught his beloved in bed with someone else. He went mad. He had beaten the guy he saw with her to a pulp before leaving her.
She kept calling to convince Damien that her actions were under the influence of alcohol.
Damien didn't believe it at first. This incited several arguments between them, one of which led to the incident with Rebecca.
